The flowing water refracted delicate patterns of light and shadow in the sunlight, while the alabaster sculpture beside the pool emitted a soft, moonlike inner glow.
- In that moment, inspiration struck: he wanted to capture that soft, pure, and timeless radiance of light flowing over natural stone. This is the origin of the name "Flume," and it also determined our final choice of materials: a warm marble lamp body paired with a translucent alabaster lampshade.
From Hand-Drawn Sketches to 3D: Sculpting the Path of Light

- Back in the studio, everything begins with hand-drawn sketches. We didn't want Flume to be overly complex; it had to be simple, elegant, and able to blend into any space without losing its individuality.
