Which size suits my use? +
The Desk Scale (35 cm) sits at typical desk-lamp height — fits home offices, study desks, and bedside tables. The Table Scale (50 cm) is for console tables, sideboards, and reading-corner side tables. The Floor Scale (72 cm) is a small-floor task lamp — sits low to the floor for over-armchair reading or beside a sofa.
How does the arm hold position? +
Internal springs counter-balance the arm at every angle — set the arm where you want it and it stays there without re-tightening. The shade also tilts independently at the arm's tip via a friction joint. This is the same articulated mechanism used in classic professional task lamps.
Do I need an electrician? +
No — this is a plug-in lamp. The 59" cord plugs into any standard wall outlet via the inline switch. No hardwiring, no junction box, no electrician needed.
What bulb does it take? +
One E26 (North America) or E27 (EU/UK/AU) standard-base bulb up to 25W. We recommend a warm white (3000K) LED for residential ambiance, or a brighter daylight LED for architectural drawing or precision task work. Bulb not included.
Is it dimmable? +
The lamp itself doesn't dim, but it becomes dimmable when paired with a dimmable LED bulb and a plug-in dimmer module (sold separately). Wall dimmers don't apply to plug-in fixtures.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
