Cast, chased and finished by hand

Our brass and iron fixtures are cast, chased and finished in our own workshop — gold-leafed, bronzed or lacquered by hand, which is why no two carry exactly the same glow. Colour is grown in the finishing bath rather than sprayed on, then sealed to age gracefully. Choose a finish above, or ask for any other metal finish from the Finishes Library.

Sizing a chandelier

Add the room’s length and width in feet — that number in inches is a comfortable diameter. Then check the ceiling can carry the weight.

Dining tableDiameter ½–⅔ of the table width; bottom 30–34″ above the table.

Foyer & stairwellBottom at least 7 ft above the floor; in a double-height hall hang it level with the second-floor line.

We’d be happy to clarify this for you. This fixture uses replaceable light bulbs, and the bulbs we provide for testing purposes are not dimmable.

If you would like the chandelier to work with a dimmer switch, you can simply purchase dimmable bulbs locally or through retailers such as Amazon, and use them with a compatible wall dimmer switch.
