Measuring for pendant lighting

When installing pendants and chandeliers, consider how you want the fixture to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space.

Kitchen islandAim for 30–36″ from the counter to the bottom of the shade. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart, 12″ in from the island edge.

We hung the five-light version over our kitchen island and it looks so good. The long shape fits the island really well without blocking the view across the room.

I chose the black frame with the darker glass, and the combination looks great.

Is the single pendent dimmable?

Thank you for your question about the Matteo Horizontal Pendant Lamp. This fixture uses standard G9 bulbs. If you already have a dimmer switch installed at home and would like to achieve an atmospheric dimming effect with this lamp, simply purchase and install dimmable G9 bulbs. It will then work perfectly with your home's dimming system!

the dimensions state the height for the Matteo horizontal pendant (4 bulbs) is 59" but is that adjustable? My ceiling is not that high, so I want to make sure I can shorten wire to make the height adjustable.
