The Polina is a solid brass chandelier from the distinguished Polina range — cast in brass throughout and hand-finished using traditional casting practices. The weight and depth of the solid-brass construction is the fixture’s defining quality: unlike plated alternatives, cast brass has real mass, develops a genuine patina over time, and holds the crispness of the mould in its detailing. The hand-finish gives each piece a subtly individual surface character, a mark of the traditional production behind it.
Three configurations — 3, 6, and 8 heads — scale from ∅ 63 cm to ∅ 85 cm, all sharing the same 30 cm hanging chain and 52 cm body height. Each piece is individually made to order, with a production period of approximately 15 days before shipping.

Note: the 3-head and 6-head share nearly the same diameter (63 vs 65 cm) — the difference is head density, not overall size.
Bulbs are not included. Each arm uses one E12 (US) or E14 (international) candelabra socket. Recommended: 2–4W LED E12/E14 flame-tip candelabra bulb at 2200–2700K amber warm white — the flame-tip shape and warm amber tone complement the solid brass and produce a period-appropriate, candlelit quality of light. Clear-glass filament bulbs are an excellent alternative, particularly when dimmed.

The Polina is a made-to-order fixture — it is not held in stock. Each chandelier is cast in brass and hand-finished individually after your order is confirmed, which is what accounts for the approximately 15-day production period before shipping. This is standard for solid-brass cast fixtures produced to order rather than mass-manufactured. If you have a delivery deadline, contact us before ordering and we will confirm the current timeline.
Which configuration suits my space? +
The 3-head (∅ 63 cm) and 6-head (∅ 65 cm) share nearly the same diameter — the difference between them is the density of arms, not the overall footprint. Choose the 3-head for a lighter, more open look and lower light output; the 6-head for a fuller, brighter fixture at the same size. Both suit bedrooms, standard dining rooms, and living rooms. The 8-head (∅ 85 cm) is noticeably larger and suits grand dining rooms, larger tables (180–200 cm), and formal foyers where a more substantial presence is needed.
What does “solid cast brass” mean? +
Cast brass means the components are formed by pouring molten brass into a mould, rather than being stamped from thin sheet or plated over a base metal. Cast pieces have real mass and density, develop a genuine patina over time, and hold sharp surface detail from the mould. The Polina is cast brass throughout — not brass-plated — which accounts for its weight and its hand-finished surface character. Each piece has subtle individual variation from the hand-finishing process.
Is it dimmable? +
Yes, when fitted with dimmable E12/E14 LED candelabra bulbs and a compatible TRIAC wall dimmer switch (both sold separately). Specify “dimmable” when purchasing bulbs and confirm your dimmer is rated for the total LED wattage across all arms. Dimming to 20–40% produces the warmest, most atmospheric result — at low brightness, the brass arms catch the reduced output as a series of warm highlights rather than a bright uniform glow.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
