Dimensions
This is a large floor lamp. 250 cm (98" / 8.2 ft) tall fully extended — confirm your ceiling clearance before ordering. Best in rooms with 9 ft+ ceilings; for standard 8 ft ceilings, the lamp will sit close to the ceiling at full extension. The articulated arm can be folded to reduce overall height when not extended.

How tall is it really? +
250 cm at full extension — that's 98 inches, or just over 8 feet. This is a large statement floor lamp, suited to rooms with 9 ft+ ceilings. The articulated arm folds down to reduce overall height when not in use, so it's not always at maximum height. For standard 8 ft ceilings, plan for the lamp to sit very close to the ceiling at full extension.
How does the arm hold position? +
Internal springs counter-balance the arm at every angle — set the arm where you want it and it stays there without re-tightening. The shade also tilts independently at the arm's tip via a friction joint. This is the same articulated mechanism used in classic mid-century task lamps, scaled up to floor-lamp size.
Do I need an electrician? +
No — this is a plug-in floor lamp. The 59" cord plugs into any standard wall outlet via the inline switch. No hardwiring, no junction box, no electrician needed. Just place it where you want, plug in, and turn on.
What bulb does it take? +
One E26 (North America) or E27 (EU/UK/AU) standard-base bulb up to 60W. We recommend a warm white (3000K) LED for residential ambiance — at this scale, a higher-lumen bulb produces serious task light suitable for reading or workshop use. Bulb not included.
Is it dimmable? +
The lamp itself doesn't dim, but it becomes dimmable when paired with a dimmable LED bulb and a plug-in dimmer module (sold separately). Wall dimmers don't apply to plug-in fixtures.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
