A French country wall sconce shaped from sculpted resin into a flourish of acanthus leaves and scrollwork, with a single candle stem and a small bobeche cup at center. The silhouette borrows from 18th-century French provincial décor — wood-carved chapels, farmhouse foyers, country chateaus.
Each piece is hand-finished with a deliberately distressed surface — pigment is rubbed into the carved recesses while the raised areas wear lighter, mimicking centuries of age. Available in three weathered finishes.

Is the carved body real wood or stone? +
No — the carved body is high-density resin, finished by hand to look like aged wood or stone. Resin allows for sharper carved detail than wood, doesn't warp or crack with humidity, and weighs less for safe wall-mounting. We disclose this clearly so you know exactly what you're buying.
What bulb does it take? +
One E12 (North America) or E14 (EU/UK/AU) candelabra bulb — the smaller socket used in chandeliers and candle-style fixtures, not standard E26/E27. Up to 25W. We recommend warm white (3000K) LED candelabra bulbs for the most period- appropriate glow. Bulb not included.
Will my piece look exactly like the photo? +
The silhouette and finish character will match the photographs, but because the distressed patina is hand-applied, the precise pattern of pigment and wear varies slightly between units. Yours will be one-of-a-kind — that's intentional and part of the antique aesthetic.
Can I install it in a powder room? +
Yes — for a powder room or guest bath away from direct water contact (flanking a mirror or vanity, for example), the IP20 rating is sufficient. Avoid installation inside a shower zone or directly above a tub. For wet-zone installations, consult a licensed electrician about local code requirements.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
