A multi-tier petal chandelier in the Murano cased-glass tradition — graduated tiers of hand-cast glass petals arranged in dense rings around a central armature, each petal cased in inner opaline white with a translucent outer color. The cased-glass technique is one of the period-defining vocabularies of mid-century Italian Vetreria production.
Drawn from the 1960s–70s Italian Murano-style cascade chandelier vocabulary of Mazzega and Vistosi-era studios. Suited to formal dining rooms, primary entry foyers, two-story foyers, and great-room interiors in 5,000+ sq ft estates and luxury hotels — for design-led clients drawn to the Italian mid-century cast-glass vocabulary in transitional, Hollywood Regency, and modern interiors. - Specialist installer recommended — cased-glass petals are individually attached and can shift during un-crating; handle by armature, never by petal tips.
- Confirm ceiling support: 30–45 kg exceeds standard junction-box rating — certified heavy-duty fixture brace or structural joist anchor required.

The 19-light Compact (Ø 31.5″) suits dining tables 60–80″ long and primary foyers with 11–14 ft ceilings. The 22-light Grand (Ø 35.4″) suits dining tables 72–96″ and two-story foyer entries, double-height great rooms, and historic-restoration projects in 5,000+ sq ft estates. Hang the lower edge 30–34″ above the dining table top.
Can I install on a sloped or cathedral ceiling? +
Yes — sloped-ceiling installation is supported as standard, including cathedral ceilings, vaulted great rooms, and tray ceilings. Confirm your ceiling slope angle at order so your electrician can angle the canopy plate correctly. The chain hangs vertically regardless of ceiling angle, and the petal cascade reads correctly from any viewing position around the room.
Which color should I choose? +
Nickel & Pink for romantic primary suites and Hollywood Regency rooms. Nickel & Yellow for warm mid-century and transitional interiors. Nickel & Red for jewel-tone dining rooms and statement entry foyers. Nickel & White is the quietest variant — best for monochromatic and Scandinavian-modern interiors. All variants pair with the same brushed nickel armature.
How heavy is it and what ceiling support do I need? +
Approximately 30–45 kg (65–100 lbs) assembled depending on size — exceeds standard residential junction-box rating (≈ 25 kg / 55 lbs). Your electrician must install a certified heavy-duty fixture brace or anchor to a structural joist. For two-story or cathedral ceilings, structural-engineer review is recommended.
What bulbs should I use? +
Candelabra-base candle bulbs, supplied by your installer. We recommend clear-envelope candle LEDs at 2700K warm white, ≤ 25W incandescent-equivalent. Clear glass reads best through the cased-glass petals — frosted bulbs flatten the period-correct cascading-light effect. Bulb count varies by size; the spec sheet confirms count for your selected size.
Is it dimmable? Custom & trade? +
Standard wiring is non-dimming; TRIAC-dimmable available as a custom build, compatible with Lutron Caséta, Diva, and forward-phase wall dimmers. Custom builds: alternative chain length and matched-tone batch orders for project quantities available on request.
