Ever since I first saw this kind of lamp 15 years ago in the lobby of my sons school, I wanted to buy one. Now we are renovating the basement and we finally have room for it. I love the craftsmanship of this lamp. The lamp shade does not seem like it would break easily, which was very important to me. I think I will be able to enjoy this lamp for many years to come.
