Two slim iron arms rise from a hand-carved wooden medallion, crossing at the base before sweeping outward to support a pair of candle stems and bobeche cups. The iron is finished in dusted vintage gold with naturally aged spotting; the wood medallion wears a softly distressed old-white patina. Together, the two materials read as quiet, lived-in, and unmistakably hand-finished.

Is the wood base real wood? +
Yes — the medallion at the base is hand-carved from genuine wood, finished in distressed old white. The carving and patina are applied by hand, so the texture, depth of distress, and grain pattern vary slightly between pieces.
What bulb does it take? +
Each of the two candle heads takes one E12 (North America) or E14 (EU/UK/AU) candelabra bulb — the smaller socket size used in chandeliers and candle-style fixtures, not standard E26/E27. Up to 25W per socket. We recommend warm white (3000K) LED candelabra bulbs. Bulbs not included.
Can I order it as a pair? +
Yes — this sconce is often installed in pairs flanking a mirror, fireplace, or headboard. Just order two units. For matched-batch finish consistency on larger orders (4+ units for hallways or hospitality), contact us first.
Will my piece look exactly like the photo? +
The silhouette and finish character will match the photographs, but because both the iron patina and wood distressing are hand-applied, the precise pattern of color and wear varies between units. Yours will be one-of-a-kind — that's intentional and part of the antique aesthetic.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
