A freestanding coat rack cast and finished entirely in solid brass, designed in Italy in the Baroque tradition. The fluted column rises from an ornate scrollwork base set on a black marble disc — a foundation heavy enough to hold the stand firmly upright under a full load of coats. At the top, six radiating arms with ball-tipped hooks spread outward from a crown finial; a second four-hook tier sits mid-column for scarves, bags, or shorter garments.
The brass carries the kind of richness that only cast metalwork can produce — intricate acanthus relief at the base collar, reeded shaft detail running the full height of the column. It brings the weight and presence of a European antique to an entryway, dressing room, or corner office without requiring wall fixings of any kind.

Solid brass develops a living patina over time. The polished gold finish will gradually deepen and warm with age — this is the natural behavior of unlacquered brass, not a defect. To preserve the bright finish, wipe with a dry cloth after handling. To accelerate the patina, simply leave it as is.

Which model should I choose? +
Model A (∅ 48 cm, H 184 cm) has a wider crown spread — better if you plan to hang multiple coats at once or prefer a more generous silhouette. Model B (∅ 43 cm, H 190 cm) is 6 cm taller with a slightly narrower footprint — suited to rooms with higher ceilings or tighter floor plans. Both are identical in finish, hook count, and construction quality.
Is the brass finish lacquered or unlacquered? +
The finish is polished brass. Over time, natural brass will develop a warmer, deeper patina with handling and ambient light — a characteristic that many consider part of the material's appeal. If you prefer to maintain the bright polished look, wipe the surface occasionally with a dry microfiber cloth to remove fingerprints and oils.
Does it need to be fixed to the wall? +
No — the black marble base disc provides sufficient weight and stability for normal use. The stand is freestanding and requires no wall anchoring. If you plan to place it in a high-traffic area with children or large dogs, positioning it in a corner adds extra stability as a precaution.
How difficult is assembly? +
Assembly is minimal. The column ships in sections that screw together — no tools are required. The base, column, and hook tiers connect by hand in roughly 10–15 minutes. Full instructions are included.
How many coats can it hold? +
The six upper arms comfortably hold six adult coats simultaneously. The four mid-column hooks are best suited to lighter items — scarves, bags, hats, or a single lightweight jacket. For a busy household entryway, plan on four to six coats as a comfortable daily load.
