Cast Aluminum · Glass Shade · Outdoor-Rated
A nod to harbor light — the Nauticus borrows from the honest, industrial shapes of maritime sconces: a cast aluminum cage, a clear glass diffuser, lines built for weather. Scaled down and refined for the modern home, it softens its industrial past into something quietly handsome.
Weather-sealed for exterior use, the Nauticus is at home mounted beside a front door, along a garage wall, above a patio, or flanking a garden path. Seven finishes and two sizes make it adaptable to almost any facade.

FAQ
Is this rated for outdoor use? +
Yes. The Nauticus is built from corrosion-resistant cast aluminum with sealed glass and weatherproof gasketing — rated for exterior installation on porches, patios, garden walls, and garage entries. For maximum service life, install under an eave or covered area where it's protected from direct, prolonged rainfall or snow.
Which bulb do you recommend? +
A warm white (2700K) E26 / E27 LED bulb, 6–9W, is ideal. LED runs cool (important for an enclosed outdoor fixture), lasts significantly longer than incandescent, and is far more energy-efficient. The frosted glass shade diffuses any bulb type evenly, so you can choose based on wattage and color temperature rather than filament appearance.
Does E26 or E27 mean the same thing? +
Practically, yes. E26 is the North American medium screw base (120V); E27 is the European equivalent (220–240V). The sockets are physically interchangeable — you'll match the bulb voltage to your local mains. Confirm the bulb you buy matches your country's voltage.
Can I install it horizontally? +
Yes. The Nauticus is designed to look balanced in either vertical (standard porch-light orientation) or horizontal orientation. Choose whichever suits your wall composition.
Is the lamp dimmable? +
Yes, when paired with a dimmable E26/E27 LED bulb and a compatible TRIAC dimmer switch. Confirm dimmer compatibility with your chosen bulb before installation.
What if my fixture arrives defective? +
Contact us within 30 days of delivery with a brief description and photos. We arrange a replacement or full refund — you won't be asked to disassemble the fixture or troubleshoot at home. That's our job.

The iron story
Honest iron, built to last
Industrial pieces start as steel and iron cut from the drawing, welded, then powder-coated or hand-patinated. The weight you feel is the point — mass reads as quality — and the finish is a living surface, not a coating, so it wears in rather than out.
Mechanical Romance.
Architectural footnotes for the contemporary interior — steel, brass, iron, and the honest marks of the hands that shaped them.

From Factory Floor
to Gallery Wall.
The workshops of the early twentieth century were the most honest classrooms industrial design ever had. We take our sense of order from the Bauhaus, our raw material from the foundries of Manchester, and apply contemporary proportion so the result belongs in rooms that reward close attention.
Every fixture we make refuses to hide its structure — visible rivets, exposed cable sheathing, hand-laid joinery. What once belonged on the factory floor now reads as architecture within the room.

Waxed Finish
The weight you feel in your hand is the most honest language of quality — we refuse plastic, refuse thin walls, refuse lightness for its own sake.— Radilum Material Principle N°01
Molten Form
Sand casting runs alongside lost-wax at 1,450°C, leaving each iron piece with the honest mark of its gate.
Hand Welded
TIG welds laid by hand, visible by design. Every welder signs the work with a numbered stamp — traceable back to the piece.
Slow Finish
Hand-polished, aged and waxed across nine stages. We do not chase mirrors — we chase the right matte.
Burn-In Test
A 72-hour electrical burn-in before every fixture leaves the floor.
Modern Farmhouse
A measured dose of grit for soft white interiors — morning light catches on every metal edge.
Minimal Loft
In open-plan rooms it reads less like décor and more like structure — a set of suspended architectural coordinates.
Country Heritage
Lives easily beside reclaimed timber and worn leather — time speaking clearly across different materials.
Mounting heights for wall lamps
Where the light sits on the wall decides whether it reads as decoration or as useful light.
