Measuring for pendant lighting

When installing pendants and chandeliers, consider how you want the fixture to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space.

Kitchen islandAim for 30–36″ from the counter to the bottom of the shade. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart, 12″ in from the island edge.

Dining roomBottom of the fixture about 30″ above the table; fixture width ≈ table width minus 12″ on each side.

BedroomAbove a nightstand allow at least 30″ between the shade and the surface; centre the pendant over the nightstand.

Can this pendent light be hung on a sloped ceiling?

It uses an adjustable cord/wire suspension system, which allows the fixture to hang straight and level even when mounted on an angled ceiling. The canopy and wiring can be adjusted during installation to accommodate the slope without any issues.
