Dimensiones

¿Qué diferencia al alabastro del vidrio esmerilado? +
El alabastro es una piedra natural de yeso con una estructura mineral semi-translúcida — la luz atraviesa la piedra en sí misma en lugar de reflejarse en una superficie recubierta. El resultado es un resplandor más cálido, más orgánico y más variable que el vidrio esmerilado: la emisión de luz cambia sutilmente con las vetas de cada pieza individual, creando una cualidad viviente que los difusores fabricados no pueden replicar. El alabastro blanco específicamente transmite la luz con un tono crema cálido incluso bajo una temperatura de color de bombilla neutra.
¿Qué bombilla debo usar — y por qué importa el voltaje? +
Esta luminaria utiliza un socket G9 clasificado para voltaje de red AC 110V. Este no es el sistema estándar G9 de bajo voltaje 12V — usar una bombilla G9 de 12V causará fallo inmediato. Obtén específicamente cápsulas LED G9 AC 110V de un especialista en iluminación. Para la pantalla de alabastro, una LED G9 de 2–4W a 2700K blanco cálido funciona mejor: el tono cálido realza el crema natural de la piedra y produce un resplandor más suave y halagador. Sí — el Flume es ideal para emparejamiento simétrico. Para una instalación de cabecero, posiciona la placa de pared de cada aplique 50–65 cm desde el centro en cada lado, a una altura donde la pantalla de alabastro se encuentre aproximadamente a la altura de los ojos cuando estés sentado (aproximadamente 100–120 cm desde el piso). Para flanquear un espejo u obra de arte, posiciona cada aplique 30–40 cm desde el borde del marco. Ambas luminarias requieren conexiones cableadas, así que planifica las posiciones de cableado antes de la instalación.

La luminaria en sí es pasiva — el dimmer depende de la combinación de bombilla y regulador de pared. Usa una cápsula LED G9 AC 110V regulable y un interruptor regulador de pared TRIAC compatible (ambos se venden por separado). Confirma que el regulador esté clasificado para cargas LED. Because alabaster is a living natural stone, every piece carries its own unique veining and tonal variation — a quality we celebrate rather than suppress. We are unable to specify, select, or replicate any particular pattern. Ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack formations, and snowflake inclusions are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. If you prefer a perfectly uniform finish, this collection may not align with your expectations — and we kindly invite you to consider this before placing your order.

Material Selection
Rough blocks are hand-assessed at the quarry for translucence, structural integrity, and depth of colour within.
Precision Cutting
Diamond instruments slice the stone into workable panels, guided by its natural grain rather than against it.
Sculpting
Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each form by hand — responding to the stone's character as it is revealed.
Hand Polishing
Progressively finer grits refine the surface until the stone's interior luminosity is fully realised.
Final Assembly
LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.

Every alabaster fixture is completed by its metalwork — the canopy, stem, arms, and fittings that carry the stone and frame its glow. Each is available in seventeen numbered finishes from the Radilum Finishes Library: brass, bronze, iron, steel, nickel, and chrome characters, hand-applied and sealed, or a custom patina grown to match a sample you send us.

Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.
- 01Never lift by the power cord.The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
- 02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
- 03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
