Industrial pieces start as steel and iron cut from the drawing, welded, then powder-coated or hand-patinated. The weight you feel is the point — mass reads as quality — and the finish is a living surface, not a coating, so it wears in rather than out.

De l'Atelier
à la Galerie.
Les ateliers du début du vingtième siècle ont été les salles de classe les plus honnêtes que le design industriel ait jamais connues. Nous puisons notre sens de l'ordre au Bauhaus, nos matières premières dans les fonderies de Manchester, et appliquons des proportions contemporaines pour que le résultat trouve sa place dans des espaces qui récompensent l'attention au détail.
Chaque luminaire que nous créons refuse de dissimuler sa structure — rivets visibles, gaines de câble apparentes, assemblage fait à la main. Ce qui appartenait autrefois à l'atelier se lit désormais comme une architecture au cœur de la pièce.
