Wall Sconce · Brass or Black · White Bell Shade · 1 or 2 Heads · E12 / E14
A pair of swooping curved arms extend from the wall plate and terminate in white bell-shaped fabric shades — the arm curvature following a classical Dutch-inspired geometry: a downward sweep that levels out before rising slightly to meet the shade, a form that reads as both structural and decorative. The bell shade is traditional in proportion: wide at the lip, gently tapered, with the rim trim that defines the silhouette from a distance. Available in brass or black body finish; the shade is white on both versions.
The single-head version (D 15 cm / H 38 cm) suits narrow hallways, bedrooms, and positions where a compact sconce is needed on either side of a mirror or artwork. The two-head version (D 38 cm / H 38 cm) has both arms extending from the same back plate — it suits wider walls, living rooms, and positions above a console or sofa where more spread and light output are appropriate.
Finish — Choose at Checkout
The shade is white fabric on both versions. Choose your arm and body finish below.
Brass
Warm polished brass arms and body — the curved form catches the light as a warm golden line against the wall. Suits traditional, transitional, and warm-toned interiors. The white shade provides a clean contrast to the brass arm.
Black
Matte black arms and body — the curved form reads as a graphic silhouette. The white shade creates a high-contrast pairing. Suits contemporary, Scandi, and neutral-palette interiors where the classical form is balanced by the modern finish.
Size — Choose at Checkout
Bedrooms, hallways, and flanking installations where two single sconces are installed symmetrically on either side of a mirror, headboard, or artwork.
Living rooms, dining rooms, and wider walls where both arms extend from a single back plate. More output and visual mass from a single installation point.
Bulbs are not included. Each arm uses one E12 (US) or E14 (international) candelabra socket. We recommend 2–4W LED E12/E14 candelabra flame-tip bulbs at 2700K warm white — the flame-tip shape suits the bell-shade candelabra aesthetic, and the warm tone complements both brass and black finishes. A standard cylindrical or globe E12/E14 LED also works fine.

FAQ
Brass or Black — which suits my interior? +
Brass is the warmer and more traditional choice — the curved arm catches the light as a warm golden line and the classical Dutch-inspired form reads most naturally in its period-appropriate material. Suits traditional, French country, colonial, and warm-toned transitional interiors. Black reframes the same classical silhouette in a contemporary register — the curved arm reads as graphic line rather than decorative metalwork, and the white shade provides a clean high-contrast pairing. Suits Scandi, contemporary-transitional, and neutral interiors where the form is appreciated but a warm metal would feel period-heavy.
1-head or 2-head — how should I choose? +
Choose the 1-head when you intend to install two sconces symmetrically — flanking a headboard, a mirror, or a piece of artwork. Two single-head Yorktowns, each with one arm extending outward, create a balanced wall composition. Choose the 2-head when you want more spread and light output from a single installation point — the two arms extend to each side from the same back plate, covering a wider wall section without requiring two separate wiring points. The 2-head suits a living room or dining room wall where a single centered fixture with bilateral reach is preferred.
What is the wall depth (projection from the wall)? +
The 1-head projects 15 cm from the wall surface — the curved arm sweeps outward to a maximum depth of 15 cm before the shade. This is modest and suits narrow hallways. The 2-head projects 38 cm total — this is the combined arm reach to each side (approximately 19 cm to each arm tip from the center backplate). In a narrow hallway, confirm that a 19 cm outward projection does not obstruct passage before choosing the 2-head version.
Is it dimmable? +
Yes, when fitted with dimmable E12/E14 LED candelabra bulbs and a compatible TRIAC wall dimmer switch (both sold separately). Specify “dimmable” when purchasing LED candelabra bulbs and confirm your dimmer is rated for LED loads. Dimming to 30–50% produces a soft, candlelit atmosphere through the white bell shades that suits the classical character of the Yorktown.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
