Thank you for choosing our lighting collection. Please read these instructions carefully before installation to ensure a safe and successful setup.
1. Safety First
-
Power Off: Turn off the power at the main circuit breaker before starting. Do not rely solely on the wall switch.
-
Protective Gear: Wear the included white gloves to prevent oil from your skin from staining the white finish.
-
Weight Support: Ensure the ceiling junction box is rated to support the weight of this fixture (approx. 25-35 lbs).
-
Professional Help: If you are unfamiliar with electrical wiring, we strongly recommend hiring a certified electrician.
2. Tool Checklist
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Adjustable Wrench
- Step Ladder
- Electrical Tape
3. Step-by-Step Installation
Phase 1: Central Support & Chain Setup
Step 1: Wire Threading
-
Place the central light cluster on a soft, scratch-free surface (like a carpet or the provided foam). Take the long main support rod and feed the electrical wire through the bottom opening. Push the wire until it emerges from the top of the rod. Ensure the wire is not twisted or pinched inside.
Step 2: Connecting the Core
-
Align the threaded bottom of the support rod with the top center of the light cluster. Screw it in clockwise until hand-tight. Crucial: Locate the small set screws at the base of the rod; use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten them firmly. This prevents the heavy fixture from spinning or unscrewing over time.
Step 3: Chain & Canopy Pre-assembly
-
Unscrew the hook adapter from the top of the rod. Slide the ceiling canopy (the bell-shaped cover) onto the rod, followed by the top decorative ring. Re-screw the hook adapter back onto the rod and tighten its locking screw. Finally, open the "quick-link" on the hanging chain, hook it onto the adapter, and screw the link shut.
Phase 2: Ceiling Mounting & Hardwiring
Step 4: Hanging the Fixture and Step 5: Wiring Connections
Secure the metal crossbar (mounting plate) to your ceiling junction box. Lift the entire fixture and hang the top of the chain onto the hook of the crossbar. This allows the fixture to hang safely while you handle the wiring.
Use the provided Orange Lever Connectors. Strip 1/2" of insulation if needed.
-
Lift the orange tab, insert the House Live (Black) wire and the Fixture Live wire into one connector, then snap the tab down.
-
Repeat for the House Neutral (White) and Fixture Neutral wires.
-
Connect the bare copper Ground wire to the green screw on the mounting plate.
-
Pro Tip: Give each wire a gentle tug to ensure it is locked in the connector.
Step 6: Finishing the Canopy
- Carefully bundle the wires into the junction box. Slide the canopy up until it sits flush against the ceiling. Hold it steady with one hand while tightening the side locking screw on the canopy collar with the other. This hides all internal hardware.
Phase 3: Tiered Arm Assembly (The "Fountain" Structure)
Step 7: Building the Tiers
-
Lay out the perforated metal plates and the curved arms. Insert the threaded end of each arm into the holes on the plate. On the underneath side of the plate, thread a hex nut onto each arm. Use an adjustable wrench to tighten them until the arm is rigid and does not wobble. Repeat this for all tiers (Small, Medium, and Large).
Step 8: Stacking the Tiers
- Arrange the assembled lamp arm tiers onto the main support rod in order from smallest to largest (or according to the design), creating a fountain-like layered effect.
Step 9: Reinforcing Between
- Tiers Once the decorative tiers are in the designated positions, tighten the screws on the disc sleeves. As shown in the image, if there is a bottom extension rod, screw it in at this time.
Step 10: Locking the Height
- Each tier plate has a center collar with set screws. Once the tier is at the correct height (referencing the staggered "fountain" look in the photos), tighten the screws on the collar to lock the tier's position. Ensure the tier is perfectly horizontal before moving to the next one.
Phase 4: Final Touches
-
Step 11: Screw in the bulbs (E12 base recommended). Slide the white candle sleeves over the sockets to conceal the hardware.
4. Final Adjustment & Cleaning
-
Leveling: Stand back and check if the tiers are level. If tilted, gently adjust the arms or the tension on the central pole.
-
Cleaning: Use a lint-free cloth to wipe away any dust. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners as they may damage the white powder-coated finish.
-
Test: Restore power and test the light for any flickering.
5. Troubleshooting
-
Lights won't turn on: Check if bulbs are tight. Ensure the wires are fully inserted into the orange clips and locked down.
-
Fixture is tilting: Check if the chain is centered. Reposition the decorative arms slightly to balance the weight.
-
Gaps between layers: Re-tighten the set screws on the central pole (Image 08) to ensure the plates are securely locked at the right height.
