§ 01 · Why we do this

Why we insure every fixture we sell.

Most lighting brands treat anything that happens after the fixture is mounted as the customer's problem. We chose to write it into every order instead.

What this means

If a Radilum fixture causes a covered installation-related incident in your home — a short circuit, electrical overheating, even a fire — the carrier covers the loss, our team handles every step of the process, and you pay nothing. You file nothing.

Buying a beautiful lamp should never mean preparing yourself for the trouble it might cause. Yet for most imported lighting brands, post-sale responsibility ends the moment the courier sets the box down. If a fixture's internal wiring fails months later and damages your home, customers typically discover the same thing: repairs out of pocket, claims unanswered, brand contact gone cold.

Radilum chose to flip this entirely. We carry a commercial insurance policy that covers every fixture leaving our warehouse — short circuits, overheating events, and the secondary property damage these can cause. This isn't marketing language. It's a contractual obligation written into the way we sell.

The logic is simple: we trust the products we make, so we'd rather absorb the cost than pass on a risk that shouldn't have existed in the first place.
