Während die einfache Payson einen Alabasterschirm an der Wand platziert, hängt die Doppel-Version zwei Schirme am gleichen Antikmessing-Körper – gestapelt oder versetzt entlang der vertikalen Achse, um eine architektonisch prägnantere Präsenz zu schaffen. Jeder Schirm diffundiert die integrierte LED durch die natürliche Äderung von Alabaster und erzeugt zwei sich überlappende Lichtpools mit warmem, mineralgefiltertem Glanz. Das Ergebnis wirkt dimensionaler als eine einzelne Wandleuchte: zwei Lichtquellen, zwei unterschiedliche Schattengradienten auf der dahinterliegenden Wandfläche.
Die Doppel-Version eignet sich für breitere Wände, größere Räume und Installationen, bei denen eine einzelne Wandleuchte zu klein wirken würde – ein Hotelkorridor, eine Akzentwand im Schlafzimmer oder beidseitig eines großzügigen Kopfteils. Weißer Alabaster
Helles creme- bis elfenbeinweiß gefärbtes Gestein mit weicher grauer Äderung. Das hellste, luminoszenteste Glühen – beide Schirme wirken nahezu von innen durchleuchtet. Passt zu neutralen und helltönigen Innenräumen.
Brauner Alabaster
Warmes bernsteinfarben bis tabakbraun gefärbtes Gestein mit ausgeprägter Karamelladerig. Ein tieferes, golderes Glühen über beide Schirme – reich und umhüllend. Passt zu warmem Holz, Terrakotta und dunkeltönigen Innenräumen.
Jeder Stein ist einzigartig. Natürlicher Alabaster weist Äderungen, Farbvariationen und Transluzenz auf, die von Stück zu Stück unterschiedlich sind. Die Schirme, die Sie erhalten, werden nicht mit den Fotos identisch sein – und die beiden Schirme an einer einzelnen Leuchte können sich auch subtil voneinander unterscheiden. Dies ist intrinsisch für Naturstein und kein Mangel.

Weißer Alabaster erzeugt das hellste, luminöseste Licht – der blasse Stein transmittiert mehr Licht und die beiden Schirme schaffen zusammen einen hellen, sauberen Akzent. Ideal für Räume mit neutralen oder hellen Wänden, wo die Leuchte ein feines, dezentes Element sein soll. Brauner Alabaster erzeugt ein tieferes, goldwarmeres Licht über beide Schirme – der Bernsteinfarbton wärmt die Lichtabgabe spürbar und verleiht der Wand hinter der Leuchte Tiefenwirkung. Perfekt für Räume mit warmem Holz, dunklen Wänden, Terrakotta oder jedem Interieur, wo Wärmeton im Vordergrund steht.
Werden die beiden Schirme an meiner Leuchte identisch sein? +
Sie werden sich sehr ähneln, aber nicht identisch sein – natürlicher Alabaster trägt individuelle Äderungen und subtile Farbabweichungen in jedem Stück, daher haben die beiden Schirme der Double-Version leicht unterschiedliche Muster. Dies ist der Natur des Natursteins immanent und macht jede Leuchte zu einem Unikat. Der Gesamtton (Creme bei Weiß, Bernstein bei Braun) bleibt auf beiden Schirmen konsistent; es sind die spezifischen Äderungen, die variieren.
Was ist der Unterschied zur Single-Version? +
Die Payson Single hat einen Alabasterschirm (insgesamt H 45 cm) und eignet sich besser für kompaktere Räume – Schlafzimmer, Flure und Wände, wo ein einzelner Akzent ausreichend ist. Die Double (diese Angeboten, insgesamt H 50 cm) hat zwei Schirme am gleichen Messingkörper und bietet mehr Lichtabgabe, mehr visuelle Masse und präsentere architektonische Wirkung. Wählen Sie die Double für größere Räume, Akzentwände und zum Flankieren eines breiten Kopfteils, wo ein einzelner Schirm optisch zu dünn wirken würde.

Because alabaster is a living natural stone, every piece carries its own unique veining and tonal variation — a quality we celebrate rather than suppress. We are unable to specify, select, or replicate any particular pattern. Ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack formations, and snowflake inclusions are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. If you prefer a perfectly uniform finish, this collection may not align with your expectations — and we kindly invite you to consider this before placing your order.

Material Selection
Rough blocks are hand-assessed at the quarry for translucence, structural integrity, and depth of colour within.
Precision Cutting
Diamond instruments slice the stone into workable panels, guided by its natural grain rather than against it.
Sculpting
Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each form by hand — responding to the stone's character as it is revealed.
Hand Polishing
Progressively finer grits refine the surface until the stone's interior luminosity is fully realised.
Final Assembly
LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.

Every alabaster fixture is completed by its metalwork — the canopy, stem, arms, and fittings that carry the stone and frame its glow. Each is available in seventeen numbered finishes from the Radilum Finishes Library: brass, bronze, iron, steel, nickel, and chrome characters, hand-applied and sealed, or a custom patina grown to match a sample you send us.

Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.
- 01Never lift by the power cord.The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
- 02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
- 03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
