Red Travertine Stone · Pedestal Console Table · Hand-Cut · Made to Order
A monolithic console table cut from solid red travertine — a rectangular slab top rests on a fluted travertine pedestal, the vertical reeds of the column catching the rust, terracotta, and warm-brown tones that travel through the natural stone.
A statement-scale console in the Italian travertine tradition — scaled for hallway entries, behind-sofa placement in living rooms, primary bedroom dressing walls, and luxury hotel suite vestibules. Each piece is hand-cut from a single block, made to order in 25 days.
Why It Stands Out
Solid Red Travertine
Hand-cut from solid travertine — natural rust and terracotta veining, real stone throughout, not stone-effect veneer.
Fluted Pedestal Form
A reeded pedestal column under a rectangular slab top — sculptural Art Deco silhouette in solid stone.
Made to Order in 25 Days
Each console is cut and finished to order from a single block — your piece is genuinely one of a kind.
Finish
Red Travertine
Natural Italian-tradition red travertine — rust, terracotta, and warm-brown layers with characteristic linear veining and natural surface pitting. Honed satin finish.
Natural stone variations. Travertine veining, color depth, surface pitting, and tone vary block to block — your piece will not look identical to the photographs. This is the inherent character of real natural stone, not a flaw.
Made-to-order · 25-day production lead time. Each console is hand-cut to order from a single travertine block. Production takes approximately 25 days from order confirmation, plus freight transit. Please plan accordingly for project deadlines.

Setup & Care
- Freight delivery is required — confirm site access for a 44 × 16 × 35-inch crate; consider stair access and doorway clearances.
- Two-person handling minimum. Solid travertine is heavy — never lift the top by itself; lift from the pedestal base.
- Place on a level, hard floor. Avoid soft rugs that can shift under the pedestal weight.
- Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth and pH-neutral stone cleaner. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus) — they etch travertine.
- Use coasters under glassware — travertine is porous and can stain from oil, wine, and dark liquids if untreated.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this real travertine stone, or stone-effect veneer? +
Real solid travertine — hand-cut from a single block. Many "travertine" furniture pieces in the US market are MDF or composite with a thin stone veneer. This console is solid stone throughout, top and pedestal.
How long until it arrives? +
Made to order. Production takes approximately 25 days from order confirmation, then freight transit (1–3 weeks depending on destination).
Will my piece match the photo? +
No — and that's the inherent character of natural stone. Each block of travertine carries its own veining, rust-and-terracotta tone variations, and surface pitting. Your console will share the overall warm-red palette but will not look identical to the photograph.
How heavy is it, and how do I move it? +
Solid travertine is substantial — expect two-person handling for placement. Lift from the pedestal base, never the top alone. Once placed on a level hard floor, it is stable.
Is it suitable for hospitality and trade projects? +
Yes — well-suited to luxury hotel suite vestibules, restaurant entry consoles, members'-club lobbies, and high-end residential entryways. Trade pricing and specification packets available. Contact us at the earliest project stage for quantity coordination.

Stone,
sculpted into
light.
Travertine is not manufactured.
It is discovered.
Formed over tens of thousands of years from mineral-rich springs, travertine carries the slow record of water, pressure, and time. Its porous surface — once hidden beneath the earth — refracts light the way a cloud softens the sun: never uniformly, always with depth.
Each Radilum piece begins as a block of this living stone. What you receive is a fragment of a landscape, reshaped by hand into an object that belongs in a home.
natural formation
share a pattern
travertine stone

Natural voids in the travertine scatter the light inside the lamp, producing a warmth closer to candlelight than to electricity — gentle, slightly irregular, never clinical.
From pale bone to sun-warmed beige to deep earthen brown, travertine carries a palette that settles quietly into almost any interior — modern, traditional, or somewhere in between.
Stone outlasts trends. Each piece develops a soft patina with time, deepening rather than dulling — the rare kind of object that grows more personal the longer you live with it.
From the earth,
into your home.
Three steps, all performed by hand in small batches — because stone is unforgiving, and no two blocks teach the same lesson.

A quarry, chosen carefully
We partner with responsible quarries and hand-select each block — inspecting for colour, density, and the kind of mineral veining that makes a lamp worth making.

The form, revealed
A master cutter studies the block, reads its grain, and works the stone into silhouette — always following, never fighting, the natural direction of the material.

Polished, then paused
Every surface is hand-polished to a matte softness — never slick, never glossy — and left to settle before it becomes a lamp. The result is a piece ready to age beautifully with you.
Travertine has the rare ability to look modern and ancient in the same breath. Light only makes this contradiction more beautiful.
At home in every style.
Travertine's quiet character lets it move between design languages with ease — anchoring a pared-back room, softening a warm one, and grounding anything in between.

Modern & Minimalist
The clean, unadorned planes of travertine pair quietly with minimalist interiors — a single piece is often all a room needs to feel warmer without feeling busier.

Bohemian & Rustic
Against layered textiles, wood, and earth tones, the raw grain of travertine sits like it was always there — an organic anchor for rooms that lean toward the free-spirited and the tactile.
