The alabaster story
Quarried in Spain, glowing from within
Spanish alabaster is a soft, translucent stone. Cut into shades a few millimetres thick, it turns an LED into a warm, even glow with the veining floating inside. Each shade is cut from its own block, so tone and pattern differ slightly from piece to piece — that is the material, not a fault.

I love this Holten Armed Sconce. I had replaced my kitchen cabinets and no longer could use the same type of lighting fixture. This was exactly the perfect pick for my farmhouse kitchen vibe. I love the elegance of the brass and the globe and the farmhouse/vintage nature of the Edison style bulb. Absolutely love this light fixture!

Love this sconce. Installed myself and was super easy. The price is great and the quality is pretty good. Felt solid and love the glass globes. Installed on a tall large-scale wall above my stairs. The size is great for this large wall and the lighting it gives off is great. Going to add a dimmer switch. Be sure to buy NARROW light bulbs as the regular round bulbs will NOT fit in to the globe. There was no bulb info in the spec sheet.
Arrived promptly and intact. No breakage. Not yet installed. Not as substantial as expected but seems well made, like the versatility to install horizontal or vertical. Think it fits the bill.
