Adjustable Spot · Integrated LED · Bedside Reading Light
A small adjustable bedside reading light in the language of contemporary hospitality lighting — a slim cylindrical brass spot mounted on a square backplate, with the cylinder pivoting to aim light precisely where you need it. A toggle switch built into the backplate turns the light on and off at the fixture, no wall switch required.
The integrated LED is purpose-built for reading — a focused 3W neutral-white beam, bright enough for a book at bedside without flooding the whole room. The cylinder rotates and tilts so a couple sharing a bed can each aim the light at their own page. Suited to bedside walls, hotel guestrooms, library reading chairs, and any spot where a discreet, targeted reading beam is wanted.
Features
Adjustable Spot
Cylinder rotates and tilts — aim the focused beam exactly where you read.
Built-In Toggle Switch
Switch built into the backplate — no wall switch needed, ideal for bedside use.
Integrated LED
Built-in 3W neutral white LED (4000K default) — focused reading beam, not ambient flood.
Finish — Choose at Checkout
Lacquered Burnished Brass
Warm honey gold with deeper recesses — as pictured. The classic finish for transitional and warm interiors.
Polished Brass
Brighter polished gold — a more reflective, modern read on the warm-metal palette.
Mirror Polished Brass
Warm copper tone with mirror polish — pinker than brass, suits warm contemporary interiors.
Black
Soft matte black — anchors modern, gallery, and high-contrast hospitality interiors.
Satin Nickel
Cool brushed silver — fresh in coastal, contemporary, and pale-walled bedrooms.
Integrated LED & hand-finished metal. The fixture ships with built-in 3W neutral white (4000K) LED — the default for reading and task light. The brass body is hand-finished, so subtle variation in tone and polish depth between pieces is expected. Warm white (3000K) and other color temperatures are available on request.

FAQ
What height should I install it at? +
For bedside use, install at 36–42″ above the mattress on each side of the bed and aim the cylinder downward toward the pillow area. For a library or reading-chair installation, mount at 50–60″ above the floor and angle the spot toward the page. The pivoting cylinder lets you fine-tune the aim once installed.
Is the Prea dimmable? +
The default integrated LED is non-dimmable. The built-in toggle switch on the backplate gives simple on/off control. If you need dimming on a wall dimmer, please contact us before ordering — a TRIAC-dimmable version is available as a custom build.
Why neutral white instead of warm? +
The default is 4000K neutral white because this fixture is built for reading — warm 3000K can make printed text feel slightly washed-out at low wattage, while neutral white keeps text crisp. If you prefer warm 3000K (more residential ambiance) or daylight 5000K (brightest read), please specify when ordering.
Can both sides of the bed have one? +
Yes — the Prea is designed for paired bedside use. Each fixture has its own toggle switch on the backplate, so each occupant controls their own light independently without disturbing the other. Order two for a standard headboard wall pair.
Is it suitable for hotel guestrooms? +
Yes — this is a hospitality-grade fixture. The integrated switch, low 3W power draw, and adjustable spot are standard requirements for guestroom bedside lighting. For project quantities or custom finish runs, contact us for hospitality pricing.
Which finish should I pick? +
Antique Brass (pictured) and Polished Brass suit warm transitional and traditional rooms. Glossy Copper reads warmer and pinker — distinctive in modern interiors. Matte Black anchors graphic and high-contrast schemes. Silver fits coastal, contemporary, and pale-walled bedrooms.

The iron story
Honest iron, built to last
Industrial pieces start as steel and iron cut from the drawing, welded, then powder-coated or hand-patinated. The weight you feel is the point — mass reads as quality — and the finish is a living surface, not a coating, so it wears in rather than out.
Mechanical Romance.
Architectural footnotes for the contemporary interior — steel, brass, iron, and the honest marks of the hands that shaped them.

From Factory Floor
to Gallery Wall.
The workshops of the early twentieth century were the most honest classrooms industrial design ever had. We take our sense of order from the Bauhaus, our raw material from the foundries of Manchester, and apply contemporary proportion so the result belongs in rooms that reward close attention.
Every fixture we make refuses to hide its structure — visible rivets, exposed cable sheathing, hand-laid joinery. What once belonged on the factory floor now reads as architecture within the room.

Waxed Finish
The weight you feel in your hand is the most honest language of quality — we refuse plastic, refuse thin walls, refuse lightness for its own sake.— Radilum Material Principle N°01
Molten Form
Sand casting runs alongside lost-wax at 1,450°C, leaving each iron piece with the honest mark of its gate.
Hand Welded
TIG welds laid by hand, visible by design. Every welder signs the work with a numbered stamp — traceable back to the piece.
Slow Finish
Hand-polished, aged and waxed across nine stages. We do not chase mirrors — we chase the right matte.
Burn-In Test
A 72-hour electrical burn-in before every fixture leaves the floor.
Modern Farmhouse
A measured dose of grit for soft white interiors — morning light catches on every metal edge.
Minimal Loft
In open-plan rooms it reads less like décor and more like structure — a set of suspended architectural coordinates.
Country Heritage
Lives easily beside reclaimed timber and worn leather — time speaking clearly across different materials.
Mounting heights for wall lamps
Where the light sits on the wall decides whether it reads as decoration or as useful light.
