Are the three articulated joints friction joints that can be repositioned by hand and hold position, or do the knobs need to be loosened and retightened each time?
The three articulated joints are not friction joints. To adjust the position of the fixture, you will need to loosen the knobs, reposition the arms to the desired angle, and then tighten the knobs again to secure the fixture in place.
