Is it really as small as an apple? +
Yes. The Petite — Short size measures D 9 × H 6 cm (about 3.5″ diameter × 2.4″ tall) — close to a small apple or tangerine. The Petite — Tall is D 9 × H 9 cm, similar in height to a standard soda can. Please review the comparison chart above to confirm.
How long does the battery last? +
A full charge provides approximately 8–10 hours of light, depending on brightness level and use conditions. The lamp recharges via the included 39.4″ (100 cm) USB cable.
How do I charge it? +
Plug the included USB cable into any standard USB power source — a wall adapter, computer, or power bank. The lamp can be used while charging, but for full cordless use, charge it fully first.
Will my lamp look exactly like the photos? +
No — and that's the best part. Alabaster is a natural mineral, so every piece has its own veining pattern, color undertone, and translucency. Your lamp will share the same character as the photos but will be uniquely yours.
Is alabaster fragile? +
Alabaster is a soft natural stone — durable for everyday decorative use, but it can chip or crack if dropped on a hard surface. Handle with the same care as ceramic or glass, and avoid prolonged contact with water.
Do you ship worldwide? +
Not at this time. We currently ship only to Japan, Australia, the EU, and the United States. Orders outside these regions cannot be processed.
Can I use it outdoors? +
No — the Alabaster Petite is for indoor use only. Alabaster is sensitive to moisture, and the lamp is not rated for outdoor exposure.

Quarried in Spain, glowing from within
Spanish alabaster is a soft, translucent stone. Cut into shades a few millimetres thick, it turns an LED into a warm, even glow with the veining floating inside. Each shade is cut from its own block, so tone and pattern differ slightly from piece to piece — that is the material, not a fault.

Formed through millions of years of slow crystallisation, alabaster is among the world's most ancient decorative stones. When illuminated, it yields a quiet, golden luminosity — gentle, organic, irreducibly human. Natural Variance Is Not a Defect
Because alabaster is a living natural stone, every piece carries its own unique veining and tonal variation — a quality we celebrate rather than suppress. We are unable to specify, select, or replicate any particular pattern. Ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack formations, and snowflake inclusions are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. If you prefer a perfectly uniform finish, this collection may not align with your expectations — and we kindly invite you to consider this before placing your order.

Every alabaster lamp begins as raw stone and arrives in your hands only after passing through a sequence of precise, unhurried steps — performed by artisans who know how to listen to the material before they shape it.
Material Selection
Rough blocks are hand-assessed at the quarry for translucence, structural integrity, and depth of colour within.
Precision Cutting
Diamond instruments slice the stone into workable panels, guided by its natural grain rather than against it.
Sculpting
Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each form by hand — responding to the stone's character as it is revealed.
Hand Polishing
Progressively finer grits refine the surface until the stone's interior luminosity is fully realised.
Final Assembly
LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.

Every alabaster fixture is completed by its metalwork — the canopy, stem, arms, and fittings that carry the stone and frame its glow. Each is available in seventeen numbered finishes from the Radilum Finishes Library: brass, bronze, iron, steel, nickel, and chrome characters, hand-applied and sealed, or a custom patina grown to match a sample you send us.

Order by number, not by name. "Antique brass," "aged brass," "burnished brass" — ask five workshops what those mean and five different metals come back. Finish 04 is the same physical sample in our studio, on the atelier bench, and on your packing list.
And because no screen renders metal honestly, we ship the physical panels before anything is committed. Hold them against your alabaster's veining, your cabinetry and wall paint, at the hour you actually use the room — then send the number.

Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.

01Never lift by the power cord.The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.

02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.

03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.
