An oversized industrial floor lamp scaled up from the language of 1930s spring-balanced workshop lighting — a tall articulated arm with two spring-tensioned joints, mounted on a heavy weighted base, with a directional drum shade at the working end. Familiar functional vocabulary, executed at gallery scale: the lamp stands H 210 cm (82.7″) tall and reaches W 235 cm (92.5″) at full extension.
Every joint articulates: the rotating base swivels 360°, the two spring-balanced arm joints fold and unfold in vertical and horizontal planes, and the shade pivots at its mount to direct light precisely. Light bounces inside the white-painted shade interior before projecting downward, giving warm diffused task light rather than harsh point illumination. Setup & Care
- Plug-in floor lamp — no electrician required. Plug the 150 cm (59″) cord into any standard wall outlet.
- Lamp ships partially folded for transit. After unpacking, gently extend the spring-balanced arm joints — they unfold smoothly and lock into position via friction tension.
- Install a single E26 (US) or E27 (EU) screw-base bulb — supply your own warm-white A19/A21 LED, max 60W incandescent equivalent.
- For dimming, use a dimmable LED bulb paired with an inline cord dimmer or a smart plug (sold separately) — fixture body has no built-in dimmer.
- Verify floor space: lamp footprint is ∅ 75 cm at base, but reach is W 235 cm at full extension. Ensure 4+ ft of free floor space around the base.

This is an oversized statement floor lamp at H 210 cm (82.7″) tall — substantially taller than a standard floor lamp. It's built for hotel lobbies and lounges, restaurant entries, gallery floors, photography studios, retail spaces, and large residential great rooms (over 30 m² / 320 sq ft) where a standard-scale floor lamp would feel undersized. Verify ceiling height of at least 9 ft (2.7 m) and 4+ ft of free floor space around the base.
Do I need an electrician to install it? +
No — this is a plug-in floor lamp with a 150 cm (59″) cord that plugs into any standard wall outlet. No hardwiring, no junction box, no electrician. Just unfold the arm joints, install your bulb, plug in. This makes it easy to relocate the lamp around a space or take it with you when changing properties.
How does the articulated arm work? +
The lamp has four points of articulation: a 360° rotating base, two spring-tensioned arm joints (one at the base, one at the elbow), and a pivoting shade mount. Each spring-tensioned joint uses internal tension springs to hold the arm in any position you set — push the arm up or down and the springs lock it in place via friction. The shade can be aimed in any direction. Together, this gives you full control over where the light is directed.
Is the Naska dimmable? +
Yes, with the right setup. The fixture takes a single E26 (US) or E27 (EU) screw-base bulb. Use a dimmable LED bulb paired with an inline cord dimmer (between the lamp and the wall outlet) or a smart plug for app-based dimming. Warm white 2700K–3000K is recommended to flatter the matte black metal and warm the bounce-light through the white interior shade.
What kind of light does it cast? +
Light projects from a single bulb inside the directional drum shade. The shade is matte black on the exterior and white on the interior — light bounces off the white interior and emerges as a focused, warm, slightly diffused beam from the open shade end. This is task light, not ambient — best suited to illuminating a specific area (a workspace, a seating zone, an art installation) rather than filling a whole room.
Is it suitable for hospitality and commercial projects? +
Yes — the oversized scale and statement-piece quality make it well-suited to hotel lobbies, restaurant entries, retail floors, photography studios, and gallery spaces. What bulb should I use? +
One E26 (US) or E27 (EU) screw-base bulb. We recommend a warm-white 2700K–3000K LED at 60W incandescent equivalent (about 8–10W actual draw) — A19 or A21 globe shape works well. Avoid daylight (5000K+) which gives a clinical cast that clashes with the warm-toned bounce reflection inside the shade.
