Longer chains
Standard drop is 150 cm / 59″ per head. For stairwells and double-height ceilings the chain is extended to suit.
Made to order
Each shade is cut from natural alabaster, so veining differs from piece to piece. Black hardware is standard; other metals on request.

Send a photo of the space. Include the ceiling and its height, the table or island below, and where the wiring sits.

Radilum proposes a count and layout. The drawing shows the number of heads and each drop height — and notes if fewer would look better.

Approve, then production begins. Nothing is cut until the drawing is signed off. Lead time and pricing are shown on the drawing.

Each head measures 8.5cm diameter × 27.5cm height (3.3″ × 10.8″). The chandelier is available in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, or 13 head configurations, all with the same individual head size.

The alabaster story
Quarried in Spain, glowing from within
Spanish alabaster is a soft, translucent stone. Cut into shades a few millimetres thick, it turns an LED into a warm, even glow with the veining floating inside. Each shade is cut from its own block, so tone and pattern differ slightly from piece to piece — that is the material, not a fault.

By day, cool sculpted stone. At dusk, switch it on and every shade glows from within like warm jade — mineral veins lit up like rivers on a map. Drag the handle and watch alabaster do the one thing no glass or resin can imitate.

The stone gets the glow; the chain gets the drama. Hand-antiqued bronze links with genuine heft, draped from solid brass canopies — hardware you can feel in your palm, finished to deepen beautifully with the years rather than wear out.

Installation & ceiling types
Each pendant hangs from its own canopy, so the fixture adapts to joist positions, sloped ceilings, and double-height voids. Your electrician sets each chain length during installation; mounting hardware is included. We recommend professional installation for all hardwired fixtures.
Bulbs & dimming
Every design uses common household sockets — the exact base and maximum wattage are on each product page. Warm-white LED (2700K) makes the stone glow at its richest, runs cool, and pairs with standard LED-compatible dimmers for evening scenes.
Caring for natural stone
Dust with a soft dry cloth; nothing more. Avoid water, solvents, and polishes — alabaster is sealed and needs none of them. The bronze chain can simply be left alone: its slow deepening is the point.
Can I change the layout later?
Yes — that is the point of a swag design. The chains re-drape without any rewiring: shorten a drop, widen the spread, or restage the whole composition when the furniture moves. Ten minutes on a ladder, and the fixture fits the new room.
Do the stones match within one fixture?
Shades on a single fixture are selected from the same stone lot, so they share a family resemblance — same warmth, same depth — while each keeps its own veining. Lit together, they read as siblings rather than copies.

Every shade travels in custom-molded foam with the hardware boxed separately, then double-boxed. If anything arrives less than perfect, photograph it and contact support — we will make it right.
