The alabaster story

Quarried in Spain, glowing from within

Spanish alabaster is a soft, translucent stone. Cut into shades a few millimetres thick, it turns an LED into a warm, even glow with the veining floating inside. Each shade is cut from its own block, so tone and pattern differ slightly from piece to piece — that is the material, not a fault.

Choosing a table or floor lamp

A lamp is sized to the surface and the seat next to it, not to the room.

Love it. It shipped very quickly, and love the weight of it and look. It casts a nice light in our living area corner. We love it so much we ordered another for our room too! Side note: It is metal aesthetic, which I appreciate even more for the weight of it and the stability.

This lamp is so impressive! Makes a bold visual statement! Heavy weighted metal base, no chance of a tip-over. Much nicer made then I expected, quality seems like something costing at least 2X.

Alabaster lampshade are so stylish and cool. Loving this lamp! My only concern in ordering it was whether it would be stable - the metal base is appropriately weighted and it looks gorgeous. Particularly impressed by the quality of the shade.
