The wood story
Grain you can see, warmth you can feel
Turned, carved or bead-strung by hand from walnut, oak and beech, every wooden part shows its own grain and colour — expect the natural variation you would want from a solid-wood piece. Finished with low-sheen oils and lacquers that let the grain breathe.
Choosing a table or floor lamp
A lamp is sized to the surface and the seat next to it, not to the room.
The gold metal frame has a soft finish and looks nice with the white bird.
We have ours on a console in the entryway, and the tall shape works really well there.
Honestly, this lamp just makes me smile.
Once it’s turned on, the bird gives off a warm glow that feels much softer than a regular exposed bulb.
Ours sits on a desk in the home office, and it adds a comfortable amount of light in the evening.
