The iron & brass story
Cast, chased and finished by hand
Our brass and iron fixtures are cast, chased and finished in our own workshop — gold-leafed, bronzed or lacquered by hand, which is why no two carry exactly the same glow. Colour is grown in the finishing bath rather than sprayed on, then sealed to age gracefully. Choose a finish above, or ask for any other metal finish from the Finishes Library.
Sizing a chandelier
Add the room’s length and width in feet — that number in inches is a comfortable diameter. Then check the ceiling can carry the weight.

The lamp give off such a nice warm light.
After we hung the nickel version in the bedroom, the space felt much less formal than I expected.
We needed something substantial for a two-story entry, and the larger tiered option finally looks proportional to the ceiling.
These white shades diffuse the light enough that we actually enjoy leaving the chandelier on through dinner now.
I originally planned to use this over the kitchen table, but the six-light version looked better in our living room seating area.
The black fixture looks fairly simple from across the room, which is what I wanted.
