The elegant Lokki is a pioneer among light fixtures made of acrylic and is one of the best-known Finnish design classics. The design is innovative and timeless. The name Lokki comes from the Finnish word for seagull, which soar in the high, clear sky while the sun shines down. The Lokki pendant lamp light features are outstanding. It provides both indirect and direct light and is non-glaring, because the light source itself does not shine directly into your eyes from any angle.

Made to order, one at a time

Every Radilum fixture is made when you order it — metal cast and finished by hand, stone cut from its own block, glass blown in small batches. That is why lead times are counted in days and weeks rather than hours, and why small variations between pieces are part of the design.

Measuring for pendant lighting

When installing pendants and chandeliers, consider how you want the fixture to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space.

Kitchen islandAim for 30–36″ from the counter to the bottom of the shade. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart, 12″ in from the island edge.

Dining roomBottom of the fixture about 30″ above the table; fixture width ≈ table width minus 12″ on each side.

BedroomAbove a nightstand allow at least 30″ between the shade and the surface; centre the pendant over the nightstand.
