Ash Wood · Brass Shade · Pull-Cord Switch
A compact wall lamp built around two honest materials — solid ash for the body, brass for the shade — and one honest gesture: a pull cord to turn it on and off. No touch panels, no apps, no hidden switches. Just the satisfying weight of cord in hand.
The Signal is thoughtful industrial design at its quietest. Small enough to live beside a bed, above a reading nook, or flanking a hallway mirror — and considered enough to sit comfortably in modern, mid-century, and traditional rooms alike.
See It In Action
AC 110V Only · Do Not Use 12V
This fixture uses G4 bi-pin AC 110V bulbs — it is not compatible with low-voltage 12V G4 bulbs. Using a 12V bulb will cause immediate failure or damage the fixture.
When shopping for replacement bulbs, confirm the packaging reads G4 / 110V AC — the bi-pin base looks identical across both voltages.
Shade Finish — Choose at Checkout
Warm brass shade. Classic pairing with natural ash wood body.
Brushed silver shade. Cooler contrast against the warm wood tone.
Walnut-stained shade. Deeper, richer tone for darker palettes.
All three versions share the same solid ash wood body. Only the shade finish changes. Wood grain varies naturally between units — subtle differences in tone and pattern are part of the material's character.

FAQ
Why can't I use a 12V G4 bulb? +
The G4 bi-pin base is physically identical in 12V and 110V versions, but the electrical systems are fundamentally different. This fixture is wired for direct 110V AC mains power — installing a 12V bulb will cause it to fail immediately or damage the fixture. Always confirm the bulb packaging reads G4 / 110V AC.
Which bulb do you recommend? +
A warm white (2700K) G4 AC 110V LED bulb at 2–3W gives the most flattering glow. LED is strongly preferred — it runs cool, lasts longer, and is safer in the compact brass shade. Avoid halogen G4 bulbs, which generate significant heat.
How does the pull cord work? +
A fabric pull cord extends from the lamp body. Pull once to turn on; pull again to turn off. Because the switch is on the lamp itself, you don't need a wall switch — the fixture can be wired directly to always-on power.
Is the lamp dimmable? +
The pull-cord switch is a simple on/off mechanism — it does not dim. For dimming, you would need to wire the fixture through a compatible wall dimmer and pair it with a dimmable G4 110V LED bulb. Contact us if you need guidance on dimmer compatibility.
Will the ash wood grain vary between units? +
Yes. Each lamp body is cut from solid ash, so grain pattern, color depth, and subtle tonal warmth differ between units. This natural variation is part of the material, not a defect.
Is the body solid wood or veneer? +
Solid ash wood — not a veneered or engineered substrate. The material has real weight and will age gracefully over time.
What if my fixture arrives defective? +
Contact us within 30 days of delivery with a brief description and photos. We arrange a replacement or full refund — you won't be asked to disassemble the fixture or troubleshoot at home. That's our job.

The wood story
Grain you can see, warmth you can feel
Turned, carved or bead-strung by hand from walnut, oak and beech, every wooden part shows its own grain and colour — expect the natural variation you would want from a solid-wood piece. Finished with low-sheen oils and lacquers that let the grain breathe.
Mounting heights for wall lamps
