§ 01 · The Art of the Swag

One chandelier. A hundred ways to hang it.

A fixed frame tells you where its lights go. A swag chandelier asks where you want them — the chains drape, gather, and stagger to fit the room, not the other way around.

Each pendant hangs on its own chain — drop them long over the table, short by the window, or let the whole cluster cascade down a stairwell.

Spread the canopies

Multiple ceiling points mean the fixture can stretch across an island or gather into a bouquet — sloped and double-height ceilings welcome.

Find your rhythm

Stagger the drops and the piece reads as sculpture; align them and it reads as architecture. Re-drape it whenever the room changes.

Chain lengths are set at installation — your electrician trims the drape to the millimetre.

Which size fits your space?

Same shade, different scale — match the head count to your space on the left, and find the practical answers on the right.

Every shade	D 17 cm × H 21 cm (Ø 6.7" × H 8.3") — the silhouette repeats; the head count sets the scale. Chain length grows with each head and is trimmed at installation.
1–2 heads	Intimate corners — bedside pairs, reading nooks, powder rooms, a hallway moment. Works from standard 8 ft ceilings up.
3 heads	Small gatherings — breakfast nooks, café tables for 2–4, compact entryways.
4–5 heads	The everyday heart — standard dining tables seating 4–6, and kitchen islands up to ~6 ft.
7 heads	The long room — dining tables seating 6–8, large islands, open-plan living zones that need presence.
9 heads	Great rooms — wide dining rooms and lounges; spread the canopies and let the cluster own the ceiling.

Installation & ceiling types

Each pendant hangs from its own canopy, so the fixture adapts to joist positions, sloped ceilings, and double-height voids. Your electrician sets each chain length during installation; mounting hardware is included. We recommend professional installation for all hardwired fixtures.

Bulbs & dimming

Every design uses common household sockets — the exact base and maximum wattage are on each product page. Warm-white LED (2700K) makes the stone glow at its richest, runs cool, and pairs with standard LED-compatible dimmers for evening scenes.

Caring for natural stone

Dust with a soft dry cloth; nothing more. Avoid water, solvents, and polishes — alabaster is sealed and needs none of them. The bronze chain can simply be left alone: its slow deepening is the point.

Can I change the layout later?

Yes — that is the point of a swag design. The chains re-drape without any rewiring: shorten a drop, widen the spread, or restage the whole composition when the furniture moves. Ten minutes on a ladder, and the fixture fits the new room.

Do the stones match within one fixture?

Shades on a single fixture are selected from the same stone lot, so they share a family resemblance — same warmth, same depth — while each keeps its own veining. Lit together, they read as siblings rather than copies.

Packaging & arrival

Every shade travels in custom-molded foam with the hardware boxed separately, then double-boxed. If anything arrives less than perfect, photograph it and contact support — we will make it right.

Add the room’s length and width in feet — that number in inches is a comfortable diameter. Then check the ceiling can carry the weight.
