The Drop System is a modular brass chandelier built on flexible articulating joints — each brass stem pivots at its connection point, so the arms can be positioned to capture a sense of organic, branching movement rather than a fixed geometric form. At the tip of each stem sits a hand-blown white glass orb, the G4 source glowing from within. The result reads as a cluster of luminous droplets suspended at varied heights — a living, sculptural composition rather than a static fixture.
Available in three finishes — brass, black, and antique bronze — and four scales from a 24-head installation to a monumental 76-head version at 4 m tall. This is a fully customisable system: head count and configuration can be tailored to your space. Contact us to specify a custom quantity or layout.

⚠ Ceiling height for the tall configurations. The 59-head (H 340 cm) and 76-head (H 400 cm) versions are cascading vertical installations — they require double-height spaces, atriums, or open stairwells with a minimum ceiling height of 4 m (59-head) and 4.5 m (76-head) respectively. Confirm structural ceiling support and installation access with a licensed electrician before ordering these versions.
⚠ G4 socket — AC 110V only. Do NOT use 12V low-voltage bulbs. This fixture uses G4 bi-pin sockets rated for AC 110V mains voltage. Most G4 bulbs are 12V low-voltage — using a 12V G4 bulb here will fail immediately. Purchase specifically G4 AC 110V bulbs.
Bulbs are not included. We recommend G4 AC 110V LED, 2700K warm white. Confirm the bulb dimensions against the spec sheet before ordering — oversized bulbs will not fit inside the glass orbs.

How do the flexible joints work? +
Each brass stem connects to the central structure through an articulating joint that allows the arm to be positioned at different angles. This means the arms are not fixed in a rigid geometric pattern — you (or your installer) can adjust each stem to create an organic, branching composition, with the glass orbs settling at varied heights. The joints hold their position once set. This adjustability is what gives the fixture its sense of natural, living movement rather than a static symmetrical form.
What bulb do I need, and why the voltage warning? +
This fixture uses G4 bi-pin sockets rated for AC 110V mains voltage. The critical point: most G4 bulbs sold are 12V low-voltage — using a 12V G4 bulb in this fixture will cause it to fail immediately. You must purchase G4 AC 110V bulbs specifically. We recommend G4 AC 110V LED at 2700K warm white. Also confirm the bulb dimensions against the spec sheet before purchasing — if the bulb is physically too large, it will not fit inside the glass orbs.
What ceiling height do the tall versions need? +
The 24-head (H 150 cm) and 42-head (H 98.5 cm) versions suit standard-to-tall ceilings. The 59-head (H 340 cm) and 76-head (H 400 cm) are cascading vertical installations designed for double-height spaces — the 59-head needs a minimum 4 m ceiling and the 76-head a minimum 4.5 m, typically in atriums, open stairwells, or grand foyers. These large versions also require confirmed structural ceiling support and professional installation. Contact us to discuss installation requirements for the tall configurations.
Is it dimmable? +
Yes, when fitted with dimmable G4 AC 110V LED bulbs and a compatible TRIAC wall dimmer switch (both sold separately). Specify “dimmable” when purchasing bulbs and confirm your dimmer is rated for the total LED wattage across all heads — on the larger configurations (42–76 heads) this combined load can be significant, so verify your dimmer’s capacity. Dimming produces a warm, layered glow through the white glass orbs that suits the organic character of the fixture.

The iron & brass story
Cast, chased and finished by hand
Our brass and iron fixtures are cast, chased and finished in our own workshop — gold-leafed, bronzed or lacquered by hand, which is why no two carry exactly the same glow. Colour is grown in the finishing bath rather than sprayed on, then sealed to age gracefully. Choose a finish above, or ask for any other metal finish from the Finishes Library.
