Marni suspends rows of LED-lit glass balls on vertical strips descending from a single aluminum canopy — each ball 10 cm in diameter, each one glowing from an integrated LED at its core. The strips hang at staggered lengths, forming a cascading curtain of light that reads as a single sculptural volume from a distance and as an intricate field of individual spheres up close. The effect is closest to a beaded high-fashion garment: pure surface, pure repetition, pure light.
Eight standard configurations range from a 2-strip, 58-ball compact version to a 4-strip, 120-ball statement installation spanning strips up to 650 cm long — suited to hotel lobbies, double-height living rooms, atriums, and stairwells. The body finish is available in Gold or Silver; the glass shade in Clear or Green. Custom ball counts and strip lengths are available on request.

The 3-strip L, XL, and 4-strip configurations require ceiling heights of 4 m or above. The longest strip in the XL version reaches 650 cm (21.3 ft) — confirm your ceiling clear height and structural capacity before ordering. For spaces below 4 m, the 2-strip or 3-strip S/M configurations are more appropriate.

Which configuration is right for my space? +
Start with your ceiling height. The 2-strip S/M configurations suit standard 3–4 m residential ceilings. The 3-strip S (longest strip 330 cm) requires at least 4 m clearance. The 3-strip M through XL and 4-strip versions are designed for architectural spaces — hotel lobbies, atriums, double-height living areas, and stairwells with 5 m+ ceiling heights. The XL (longest strip 650 cm) requires a minimum of 7–8 m clear height. If none of the standard configs fit your exact space, contact us for a custom build.
Can I order a custom configuration? +
Yes — custom ball counts, strip counts, and length proportions are all available. We handle bespoke installations for hotels, boutique retail, and residential projects. Contact us with your ceiling height, desired spread, and any reference images before placing an order. Lead time for custom builds is longer than standard stock.
Do I need to reinforce my ceiling? +
For the larger configurations (3-strip L, XL, and 4-strip), ceiling reinforcement is likely required. More strips and more balls mean significantly more weight — confirm your junction box and joist rating with a licensed electrician before installation. Standard residential boxes are typically not rated for large multi-strip chandeliers.
Is the integrated LED replaceable? +
The LED is integrated into each acrylic ball and is not field-replaceable. The LEDs are rated for 30,000+ hours under normal use. If a service issue arises, contact us directly and we will advise on next steps.

Our glass shades are gathered from the furnace and blown or pressed by hand, then annealed slowly so the colour stays even and the wall stays strong. Small bubbles and slight differences between pieces are not flaws — they are how you know a hand made it.

Drawing inspiration from the beaded chandeliers of Mid-Century European ateliers, the Marni is a study in rhythm and restraint. Dozens of hand-formed glass orbs cascade from a sculptural brass frame, each sphere catching and refracting light into soft halos that ripple across the ceiling. Whether suspended above a long dining table or centered in a double-height foyer, it functions less as a fixture and more as architecture — a vertical counterpoint that gives the space around it meaning.

Every Marni chandelier is assembled by hand in a workshop that has been making lighting for over two decades. The brass frame is cast, polished, and lacquered to a finish that resists tarnishing for years. Each glass bead is individually blown, annealed, and hand-strung — a process that produces subtle variations in thickness and clarity, giving every piece its own signature.

High-Borosilicate Glass
Premium lab-grade glass with up to 3× the optical clarity of standard soda-lime — refracts light into a cleaner halo without the yellow cast.
Solid Brass Frame
Cast from 100% solid brass (not plated steel) and hand-polished. Every arm is reinforced for a no-sag hold, even at maximum bead weight.
Hand-Strung Beading
Each glass bead is threaded on a stainless-steel core and hand-knotted to prevent slippage — a technique borrowed from traditional crystal chandeliers.
Modular Construction
Every arm, bead strand, and hardware piece is independently serviceable. Replace a single component without dismantling the entire fixture.

Our engineers designed the Marni's modular frame specifically to eliminate electrician callouts. Ships pre-wired with color-coded connectors and a printed illustrated guide. Average install time: 45 minutes.
Secure the Canopy
Mount the ceiling plate using the included universal bracket — fits standard junction boxes in the US, EU, AU, and UK.
Connect & Click
Join the color-coded wires, then click each bead strand into the brass frame. No tools required beyond a screwdriver.
Adjust the Drop
Trim the steel cables to your ceiling height using the included cutter, lock with the brass set-screws, and you're done.
