En la punta de cada tallo, una pantalla de cerámica blanca moldeada a mano se posiciona abierta en la parte superior, dirigiendo la fuente E12 tanto hacia abajo a través del cuerpo de cerámica como hacia arriba a través de la corona abierta. Ese componente hacia arriba es la cualidad más distintiva de la Aldean: cuando está encendida, la lámpara proyecta patrones de sombra ramificados en el techo por encima de ella — la geometría del tallo de latón proyectada como sombra, la lámpara duplicando su presencia en la habitación.
Tres configuraciones — 9, 12 y 18 brazos — escalan la densidad de los racimos ramificados manteniendo el mismo lenguaje de diseño. Las tres incluyen una cadena de colgante de 50 cm ajustable en la instalación. Las pantallas de cerámica blanca y la estructura de latón pulido se mantienen fijas en todos los tamaños — la elección es puramente de escala.

Tamaño — Elige al finalizar la compra
Las bombillas no están incluidas. Cada brazo utiliza un portalámparas de candelabro E12 (EE.UU.) o E14 (internacional). Recomendamos bombillas LED E12/E14 candelabro de 2–4W a 2700K blanco cálido. El tono cálido complementa la estructura de latón y mejora el efecto de sombra en el techo — la fuente de luz cálida crea sombras más definidas que las bombillas blanco frío. Un globo pequeño o una bombilla LED cilíndrica funciona bien dentro de la pantalla de cerámica abierta.

¿Qué tamaño es adecuado para mi comedor? +
La versión de 9 luces (∅ 67 cm) es ideal para mesas de comedor de hasta 150 cm y comedores más reducidos donde una araña más compacta resulta proporcionada. La de 12 luces (∅ 78 cm) cubre mesas de comedor estándar de 4 a 6 personas (150–180 cm) y es la opción más versátil para espacios abiertos. La de 18 luces (∅ 89 cm) está diseñada para comedores amplios, mesas grandes (180–210 cm) y vestíbulos donde se busca la máxima densidad visual y cobertura de sombra en el techo. Conforme aumenta el número de luces, la silueta ramificada se vuelve más densa y el efecto de sombra en el techo es más pronunciado.
¿Cómo funciona el efecto de sombra en el techo? +
Las pantallas de cerámica blanca están abiertas tanto en la parte superior como inferior — la bombilla E12/E14 en el interior de cada pantalla emite luz hacia abajo (a través del cuerpo de cerámica como un resplandor difuso) y hacia arriba (saliendo directamente por la corona abierta). La luz ascendente incide en los tallos de latón y proyecta su geometría ramificada como patrones de sombra en el techo sobre la luminaria. El efecto es más visible en condiciones de luz tenue — cuanto menor sea el nivel de luz ambiente, más definidos serán los patrones de sombra. Las bombillas blanco cálido (2700K) producen la versión más cálida y atmosférica de este efecto.
¿Son frágiles las pantallas de cerámica? +
La cerámica cocida en horno es resistente en condiciones normales de techo, pero se astillará o agrietará si recibe un golpe directo contra una superficie dura durante la instalación. Manipule con cuidado durante el montaje — evite golpear las pantallas individuales contra los tallos de latón o unas contra otras. Una vez instaladas, las pantallas están fijas y no están sujetas a manipulación diaria. Debido a que son artesanales, las ligeras diferencias de forma, textura de superficie y tonalidad entre piezas individuales son normales e inherentes al proceso de elaboración manual.
¿Es regulable? +
Sí, cuando se equipa con bombillas LED dimmables E12/E14 y un interruptor dimmer TRIAC compatible en la pared (ambos se venden por separado). Especifique "dimmable" al comprar bombillas LED y confirme que su dimmer está clasificado para cargas LED. Reducir la intensidad del Aldean al 30–50% normalmente produce el mejor efecto de sombra en el techo — la luz ambiente reducida hace que las sombras de ramas proyectadas hacia arriba sean más visibles y dramáticas contra la superficie del techo.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
