Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.

Does the the Jura light rotate 360 degrees? is it a full ball joint or does is just go up/down?
To answer your question directly: yes, the fixture offers wonderful flexibility! The connection part in the middle is designed with a universal joint. This special joint allows you to easily adjust the light both up and down as well as left and right to direct the illumination exactly where you need it most.
It states this is also a plug in but I don’t see pictures or details specified to confirm that. Does this wall light come with the plug in feature? If so, is there a cord cover match available?
This wall light does not come with a plug-in cord version by default. The standard version is designed for hardwired installation.
If you would like a plug-in version, please let us know the quantity you need, and we will check with our factory whether this customization is possible.
Regarding the cord cover, we currently do not provide this accessory. You may purchase a suitable cord cover separately from retailers such as Amazon based on your preferred style and wall color.
Does the dimmer switch turn the light off & on? I don't have a wall switch.

To answer your question directly, please be advised that the Jura Wall Sconce is not a dimmable fixture. This particular lamp features a beautiful warm light version designed to create a cozy atmosphere, but it does not include an integrated dimmer switch, nor can it turn the light on and off independently.
In order to operate this fixture, you will need to have it connected to a standard wall switch. Because you mentioned that you do not currently have a wall switch installed, we highly recommend consulting with a certified electrician prior to installation to discuss the best wiring options for your space.
