Tassel Sconce · Iron or Brass Body · Real or Faux Horsehair · G9
A wall sconce that studies the tassel — its weft of flowing horsehair fringe combined with metal and a soft white acrylic shade nods to the structural beauty of woven thread. The Antonia is available in two versions: a premium Version A with a solid brass body and genuine horsehair mane, and a standard Version B with an iron body and faux synthetic horsehair. Both share the same form; the difference is in material honesty and price.

The acrylic shade is always white on both versions — the metal finish applies to the frame only.
Important — Please Read Before Installing
The horsehair mane (both versions) can become tangled during shipping or rough handling. This is normal and easily fixed — please follow the included installation guide carefully, and watch the mane repair video above before unboxing if possible.
If the mane arrives messy or becomes tangled, the fix is simple: comb it gently with a wide-tooth comb until it falls naturally back into place.

FAQ
Version A or B — which should I choose? +
Choose Version A (Brass + Real Horsehair) if material authenticity matters — solid brass develops a living patina over time, and genuine horsehair has a natural drape and sheen that synthetic cannot fully replicate. Choose Version B (Iron + Faux Horsehair) if you want a broader finish palette (Old Gold / Nickel / Black), prefer a vegan product with no animal-derived materials, or prioritise colour-stability of the mane over time.
Can I wash or wet-clean the mane? +
No — water and cleaning sprays can mat both real and synthetic horsehair fibres and affect the drape. Dust gently with a soft brush or comb through with a wide-tooth comb. Never submerge or wet either version.
Which bulb do you recommend? +
A G9 LED bulb in warm white (2700K), at 3–4W. Frosted bulbs blend cleanly with the white acrylic shade. Avoid clear filament bulbs — they show too sharply through the acrylic. Stick to warm white; cool-white clashes with the warm metal-and-tassel character.
Is the lamp dimmable? +
Yes — paired with a dimmable G9 LED bulb and a TRIAC-compatible wall dimmer, both versions dim smoothly. The fixture itself has no built-in dimmer.
How does it look in pairs? +
Beautifully. Two Antonia sconces flanking a mirror, fireplace, or bed create a strong symmetrical statement — the horsehair tassels mirror each other and frame the central feature. The slim 9 cm width per fixture means you can space them close to a focal point without crowding the wall.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
