Installation

- Installez dans un emplacement abrité : porche couvert, véranda, auvent, tonnelle ou entrée couverte. Évitez les positions exposées à la pluie directe ou aux éclaboussures d'arroseurs.
- Tous les éléments de fixation sont inclus. Compatible avec une boîte murale standard.
- Assurez-vous que le circuit d'alimentation est en 110V AC. Ne pas connecter à des transformateurs d'éclairage paysager 12V.
- Utilisez une ampoule LED G4 bi-pin prévue pour 110V AC — vendue séparément.
- Scellez les pénétrations de fixation avec du silicone de qualité extérieure pour éviter l'infiltration d'humidité au niveau de la plaque murale.

Oui — le laiton massif développe naturellement une patine plus profonde et vieillie avec le temps, particulièrement dans les environnements humides ou côtiers abrités. Cela fait partie de l'intention de conception de la Collection Hardy Island. Si vous préférez une finition stable et inchangée, choisissez plutôt le Noir mat ou l'Argent.
Puis-je utiliser ceci avec mon système d'éclairage extérieur 12V ? +
Non. Le Hardy fonctionne exclusivement en 110V AC. Le connecter à un transformateur d'éclairage paysager basse tension 12V ne fonctionnera pas et pourrait endommager l'appareil. Si vous avez besoin d'une option 12V, veuillez consulter un autre produit de notre gamme extérieure.
Quelle ampoule dois-je utiliser ? +

Non. Le Hardy est conçu pour un usage extérieur abrité — porches couverts, vérandas, auvents, pergolas avec toit solide, tonnelles ou entrées couvertes. Évitez les positions où la lampe serait exposée à la pluie directe, aux éclaboussures d'arroseurs ou à l'accumulation d'eau. Le boîtier en laiton supporte l'humidité, la brise et l'air salin, mais il n'est pas prévu pour les précipitations directes.
Où le Hardy fonctionne-t-il le mieux compte tenu de sa taille ? +
Avec sa hauteur compacte de 10 cm, le Hardy est idéal pour : un éclairage d'accentuation de cheminement (installé à faible hauteur murale), encadrer les portes d'entrée par paire, un éclairage de balisage le long des escaliers, des points de ponctuation sur un mur de jardin, ou en série le long d'une clôture. Il n'est pas conçu comme source d'éclairage principale de porche.
Comment entretenir la finition ? +
Nettoyez délicatement avec un chiffon doux et sec. Pour les emplacements côtiers, un nettoyage occasionnel avec un chiffon légèrement humide enlève les résidus de sel. Évitez les nettoyants abrasifs ou les produits de polissage — ils enlèveraient la patine ou la finition mate. Les finitions en laiton sont conçues pour vieillir naturellement ; ce n'est pas un défaut.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
