Le diffuseur en albâtre diffuse la source G9 à travers la structure minérale de la pierre elle-même, produisant une lueur chaleureuse et translucide qui varie selon les veines naturelles de chaque pièce.
À 42 cm de hauteur et 15 cm de profondeur, la Flume reste proche de la paroi sans projeter agressivement dans la pièce. Elle se lit comme un détail sculptural lorsqu'elle est éteinte et comme un accent minéral chaleureux lorsqu'elle est allumée — idéale pour les chambres, couloirs et tout mur où une applique bien proportionnée est le point focal recherché.

Qu'est-ce qui distingue l'albâtre du verre dépoli ? +
L'albâtre est une pierre de gypse naturelle dotée d'une structure minérale semi-translucide — la lumière traverse la pierre elle-même plutôt que de se réfléchir sur une surface revêtue. Le résultat est une lueur plus chaude, plus organique et plus variable que le verre dépoli : l'émission lumineuse change subtilement avec les veines de chaque pièce, créant une qualité vivante que les diffuseurs manufacturés ne peuvent pas reproduire. L'albâtre blanc spécifiquement transmet la lumière avec une teinte crème chaleureuse même sous une température de couleur d'ampoule neutre.
Quel ampoule dois-je utiliser — et pourquoi la tension importe-t-elle ? +
Ce luminaire utilise un culot G9 conçu pour la tension secteur AC 110V. Ce n'est pas le système standard G9 basse tension 12V — utiliser une ampoule G9 12V causera une défaillance immédiate. Procurez-vous spécifiquement des capsules LED G9 AC 110V auprès d'un spécialiste en éclairage. Pour l'abat-jour en albâtre, une ampoule LED G9 2–4W à 2700K blanc chaud fonctionne mieux : la teinte chaude rehausse la crème naturelle de la pierre et produit une lueur plus douce et flatteuse. Les ampoules ne sont pas incluses.
Peut-on en coupler deux de chaque côté d'une tête de lit ou d'un miroir ? +
Oui — le Flume convient parfaitement à un appairage symétrique. Pour une installation en tête de lit, positionnez la plaque murale de chaque applique 50–65 cm du centre de chaque côté, à une hauteur où l'abat-jour en albâtre se situe approximativement au niveau des yeux en position assise (environ 100–120 cm du sol). Pour encadrer un miroir ou une œuvre, positionnez chaque applique 30–40 cm du bord du cadre. Les deux luminaires nécessitent des connexions câblées, donc planifiez les positions de câblage avant l'installation.
Est-ce dimmable ? +
Le luminaire lui-même est passif — la gradation dépend de la combinaison ampoule et variateur mural. Utilisez une capsule LED G9 AC 110V dimmable et un variateur mural compatible TRIAC (tous deux vendus séparément). Confirmez que le variateur est conçu pour les charges LED. Réduire les appliques en albâtre à 40–60% produit généralement l'effet le plus chaleureux et atmosphérique — la translucidité de la pierre devient plus prononcée aux niveaux lumineux inférieurs.

We are unable to specify, select, or replicate any particular pattern. Ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack formations, and snowflake inclusions are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. Every alabaster lamp begins as raw stone and arrives in your hands only after passing through a sequence of precise, unhurried steps — performed by artisans who know how to listen to the material before they shape it.
Material Selection
Rough blocks are hand-assessed at the quarry for translucence, structural integrity, and depth of colour within.
Precision Cutting
Diamond instruments slice the stone into workable panels, guided by its natural grain rather than against it.
Sculpting
Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each form by hand — responding to the stone's character as it is revealed.
Hand Polishing
Progressively finer grits refine the surface until the stone's interior luminosity is fully realised.
Final Assembly
LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.

Every alabaster fixture is completed by its metalwork — the canopy, stem, arms, and fittings that carry the stone and frame its glow. Each is available in seventeen numbered finishes from the Radilum Finishes Library: brass, bronze, iron, steel, nickel, and chrome characters, hand-applied and sealed, or a custom patina grown to match a sample you send us.

Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.
- 01Never lift by the power cord.The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
- 02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
- 03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
