Cast Brass · Crystal Pendalogues · French Versailles Court · Three Sizes

A French Versailles-style crystal chandelier in the Louis XIV and Marie Thérèse tradition — a sculpted cast-brass column rises from a fluted base bowl, branching into scrolled acanthus arms with candelabra sockets. Cut-crystal pendalogues and beaded strands cascade from every level.

Available in three sizes — from 6-head dining-room scale to a 10+5-head estate-scale fixture for grand foyers and ballrooms. Solid brass throughout with hand-strung clear crystal.

Cast Brass & Clear Crystal

Hand-finished cast brass with hand-strung clear crystal pendalogues — the classic French Versailles palette suited to formal, Hollywood Regency, and Baroque-revival interiors.

Hand-finished cast brass and hand-strung crystal. Each fixture is cast and patinated by hand; minor variation in tone and the hand-stringing of crystal pendalogues is the character of handwork, not a flaw.

10+5 estate-scale version — reinforced ceiling support recommended. Weight exceeds standard junction-box rating. Anchor to a structural joist or install a heavy-duty fixture brace. The 6-head and 8-head versions mount on a standard junction box.

Is the crystal real cut crystal? +

Yes — hand-cut clear crystal, hand-strung onto the fixture. Real cut crystal refracts light with a depth and rainbow play that pressed glass and acrylic cannot replicate. Each pendalogue is faceted by hand.

Which size fits my space? +

The 6-head (∅ 28.3″) suits dining tables of 4–6 ft and foyers with 9 ft ceilings. The 8-head (∅ 31.5″) suits larger dining rooms and grand foyers with 10 ft+ ceilings. The 10+5 estate-scale (∅ 41.3″ × H 33.5″) is for grand foyers, ballrooms, and double-height great rooms with 14 ft+ ceilings.

Is it dimmable? +

Yes — TRIAC-compatible with dimmable candelabra bulbs on a standard wall dimmer.

Is it suitable for hospitality and trade projects? +

Yes — well-suited to luxury hotel ballrooms, restaurant private dining, members'-club libraries, and Versailles / Baroque / Hollywood Regency residential projects. Trade pricing and specification packets available.

Every room has a soul piece. This is where it hangs.

Some lights fill a room; a very few define it. An American crystal chandelier is the second kind — the fixture guests look up at first, the one the whole space quietly arranges itself around.

§ 01 · The Style

Not your grandmother's chandelier — iron nerve, crystal grace.

French crystal whispers, traditional European crystal parades. American crystal does something else: it pairs a strong, honest metal frame with just enough sparkle — tailored, modern, and easy to live with.

The Iron

A frame with a backbone.

Aged bronze and matte black — finishes borrowed from workshop and farmhouse, not from a palace. The metal draws clean, confident lines that keep the whole piece grounded and architectural.

The Light

Sparkle, rationed.

Crystal used the way a tailor uses a pocket square — a deliberate few, perfectly placed. Where European chandeliers drip with it, the American cut lets a handful of clean facets carry the whole effect.

§ 03 · Before You Order

Three worries, retired.

Every crystal buyer arrives with the same three fears. Here they are — each answered in one breath.

"
Worry № 1 · Shipping
What if it arrives in pieces?

It travels suspended in molded foam, every strand bagged — and if the carrier wins anyway, we replace damaged parts free.

Worry № 2 · Mounting
What if it falls?

A load-bearing canopy and complete hardware come in the box. Anchored to a joist or braced electrical box, it's up for decades.

"
Worry № 3 · Upkeep
Won't it just collect dust?

A static duster keeps the sparkle; once a year, a mist of no-rinse crystal cleaner drips it back to brand-new. No disassembly, ever.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting

When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.

Kitchen

Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.

Dining Room

For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.

Bedroom

If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
