De boogvorm is het bepalende element: de arm volgt een schone geometrische curve die zowel structureel als sculpturaal afleest — een opzettelijk gemis aan rechte lijnen in een fixture die verder minimaal is. De alabasten kap diffundeert de G9 lichtbron door de eigen minerale structuur van de steen, wat een warm, doorschijnend glans oplevert dat varieert met de natuurlijke nerven van elk stuk.
Met een hoogte van 42 cm en een diepte van 15 cm sluit de Flume zich dicht tegen de wand aan zonder zich aggressief in de ruimte uit te strekken. Het leest als een sculpturaal detail wanneer niet verlicht en als een warme minerale accent wanneer aan — geschikt voor slaapkamers, gangen en elke wand waar een enkele goed geproportioneerde wandlamp het beoogde brandpunt is.
Afmetingen
Elke steen is uniek. Wit alabast bevat natuurlijke nerven, tonale variatie en doorschijnendheid die van stuk tot stuk verschillen. De kap die u ontvangt zal niet identiek zijn aan de foto's — die individualiteit is inherent aan de steen, geen defect.
G9-fitting — bevestig de lampvoltage voor aankoop. Deze fixture gebruikt een G9 bi-pin fitting met nominaal AC 110V netspanning. De meeste G9-lampen die in bouwmarkten verkrijgbaar zijn, zijn 12V laagspanning — het gebruik van een 12V G9-lamp in deze fixture zal tot onmiddellijk defect leiden. Wat maakt alabast anders dan gepolijst glas? +
Alabast is een natuurlijke gipssteen met een semi-doorschijnende minerale structuur — licht gaat door de steen zelf in plaats van terug te kaatsen van een gecoat oppervlak. Het resultaat is een glans die warmer, organischer en meer variabel is dan gepolijst glas: de lichtopbrengst verandert subtiel met de nerven van elk afzonderlijk stuk, wat een levende kwaliteit creëert die gefabriceerde diffusoren niet kunnen repliceren. Wit alabast zendt met name licht uit met een warme room tint, zelfs onder een neutrale kleurtemperatuur van lampen.
Welke gloeilamp moet ik gebruiken — en waarom is spanning belangrijk? +
Deze fixture gebruikt een G9-fitting met nominaal AC 110V netspanning. Dit is niet het standaard 12V laagspannings G9-systeem — het gebruik van een 12V G9-lamp veroorzaakt onmiddellijk defect. Bestel specifiek G9 AC 110V LED capsules van een verlichtingsspecialist. Voor de alabasten kap werkt een 2–4W G9 LED op 2700K warm wit het best: de warme tint benadrukt de natuurlijke room van de steen en produceert een zachter, vleierender glans. Lampen zijn niet inbegrepen.
Kunnen twee worden gekoppeld langs een hoofdeinde of spiegel? +
Ja — de Flume leent zich goed voor symmetrische koppeling. Voor een hoofdeinedinstallatie positioneert u de wandplaat van elke wandlamp 50–65 cm vanaf het midden aan elke zijde, op een hoogte waar de alabasten kap zich ongeveer ter hoogte van het oog bevindt als u zit (ruwweg 100–120 cm van de vloer). Voor flankering van een spiegel of kunstwerk positioneert u elke wandlamp 30–40 cm van de rand van het frame. Beide fixtures vereisen hardwired verbindingen, dus plan draadposities vóór installatie.
Is het dimbaar? +
De fixture zelf is passief — dimming is afhankelijk van de lamp- en wanddimmer combinatie. Gebruik een dimmable G9 AC 110V LED capsule en een compatibele TRIAC wanddimmerschakelaar (beide apart verkocht). Bevestig dat de dimmer voor LED-belastingen geschikt is. Het dimmen van alabasten wandlampen tot 40–60% produceert doorgaans het warmste, meest sfeervolle effect — de doorschijnendheid van de steen wordt meer uitgesproken bij lagere lichtintensiteit.

Precision Cutting
Diamond instruments slice the stone into workable panels, guided by its natural grain rather than against it.
Sculpting
Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each form by hand — responding to the stone's character as it is revealed.
Hand Polishing
Progressively finer grits refine the surface until the stone's interior luminosity is fully realised.
Final Assembly
LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.

Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.
- 01Never lift by the power cord.The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
- 02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
- 03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
