Een lineaire hanglamp in de taal van hedendaags Amerikaans studioontwerp — zes ovale capsule-vormige panelen opgehangen aan een smal zwarte rechthoekige hemelkat, afwisselend tussen handgesneden Spaans alabaster en mat zwart ijzer. Twee paar kleine witte bolgloeilampen hangen aan de uiteinden als satellieten, van binnenuit verlicht terwijl de alabasterpanelen zacht gloeien wanneer geïntegreerde LED's van binnenuit de capsules verlichten.
De compositie is reductionistisch en grafisch: zwarte ijzeren lijnen, witte stenen panelen, twee gloeiende bollen — een hedendaags studioarmatuur voor designbewuste interieurs. Vochtbestendig betekent dat het armatuur geschikt is voor binnenshuis en overdekte buitengebruik of vochtiger gebieden (overdekte patio's, primaire badkamers, keukens met afzuiging). Elk alabasterpaneel wordt handmatig gesneden uit Aragón steen, dus wolkachtige aderspatronen variëren van paneel tot paneel en van armatuur tot armatuur. Geschikt voor formele eetruimtes, keukeneilanden, primaire slaapkamers, entreefoyers, luxe hotelsuites, galeriëruimtes en overdekte buitenlenteloungen in moderne, minimalistische, hedendaagse Amerikaanse studio- en warm-organische interieurs.

Handgesneden natuurlijk Spaans alabast. Elk capsule-vormig paneel wordt handmatig gesneden en gepolijst uit een enkel blok Aragonees alabast — natuurlijke wolkachtige nervatuur, kleurdiepte en doorschijnendheid variëren van paneel tot paneel. Binnen één fixture worden panelen in toon op elkaar afgestemd voor visuële samenhang. Het stuk dat u ontvangt ziet er niet identiek uit aan de foto's. Dit is het karakter van natuursteen, niet een gebreken. De standaard geïntegreerde LED is niet dimbaar. TRIAC-dimbbare en 0–10V dimbbare versies zijn op aanvraag beschikbaar — neem alstublieft contact met ons op voordat u bestelt. Aangepaste bouwprojecten kunnen de levertijd beïnvloeden.
Installatiehandleiding voor vochtige omgevingen. De Megalith is geschikt voor vochtige locaties: binnenshuis, afgedekte buitenruimte (overdekte veranda, portiek, lanai), primaire badkamers en vochtige keukens zijn geschikt. Niet geschikt voor natte omgevingen — directe blootstelling aan regen, sprinklerwater of douchespray maakt de bescherming ongeldig en verkort de levensduur. Installatie
- Sluit aan op een standaard plafondaansluiting — professionele installatie aanbevolen.
- Voor eetkamertafels, keukeneilanden of badkamerverlichtingen, hang het onderste van de alabast-panelen 30–36″ boven het oppervlak eronder.
- Voor entreeruimtes en primaire slaapkamers, hang minimaal 7 ft vanaf de afgewerkte vloer.
- De fixture wordt verzonden met de panelen vooraf aangebracht; staaf-/afhangende lengte kan ter plaatse door uw elektricien worden aangepast.
- Geen lampen om in te stellen — geïntegreerde LED is ingebouwd en voorgeprogrammeerd door de alabast-panelen en glazen bollen.
- Controleer horizontale vrije ruimte: de lengte van L 96,5 cm (38″) vereist minstens 4 ft vrije lineaire ruimte boven het oppervlak eronder; B 45 cm (17,7″) heeft ~2 ft zijdelingse vrije ruimte nodig.
- Installatie in vochtige omgeving: voor primaire badkamers of afgedekte buitenplaatsing, zorg ervoor dat de aansluitingsdoos ook geschikt is voor vochtige omgevingen en gebruik GFCI-bescherming volgens lokale regelgeving.

Met L 38″ × B 17,7″ × H 45,5″ (96,5 × 45 × 115,5 cm) is de Megalith goed geschaald voor formele eetkamertafels voor 6–10 personen, keukeneilanden van 5–8 ft, primaire badkamerverlichtingen van 5–7 ft, primaire slaapkamers van 18–28 m², entreeruimtes tot 22 m² en luxehotelsuites. Minimaal 9 ft (2,7 m) plafondhoogte; de lineaire horizontale vorm vereist minstens 4 ft vrije lineaire ruimte boven het oppervlak eronder.
Kan ik het in een badkamer of afgedekte buitenruimte installeren? +
Ja — de Megalith is geschikt voor vochtige omgevingen, wat betekent dat het geschikt is voor binnenshuis, afgedekte buitenruimte (afgedekte veranda's, lanai's, portieken met bovenaf bescherming), primaire badkamers (boven een toilettafel, niet direct boven een douche) en vochtige keukenlocaties. Wat betekent "geschikt voor vochtige omgevingen"? +
Vochtbestendig verlicht is ontworpen voor omgevingen met verhoogde luchtvochtigheid en occasioneel indirect vocht (stoom, spatten, condensatie) — meestal met afdichtingscomponenten, corrosiebestendige materialen en beschermde bedrading. Vochtbestendige armaturen zijn geschikt voor: badkamers (weg van direct douchespray), keukens (weg van directe kookplaatuiting), overdekte veranda's en terras, kelders, solariums. Ze zijn NIET geschikt voor: open terras, zwembadgebieden met chloorspray, direct doucheplaatsen of enig gebied waar de armatuur zelf nat zou worden.
Warm licht of koel licht? +
Warm licht (3000K) geeft een zachte, huiselijke, avondvriendelijke gloed door het alabaster — de crèmetinten van de steen komen naar voren, ideaal voor eetkamers, slaapkamers en entertainingruimten. Koel licht (4000K) geeft een helderder, meer neutraal wit door het alabaster — de steen oogt meer architectonisch en de koele toon integreert beter met daglichttaakverlichting en badkamerinstallaties. Voor meeste residentieel gebruik is Warm licht de veiligere keuze; voor badkamerkastverlichting of moderne minimalistische toepassingen levert Koel licht een meer eigentijdser uitstraling.

Nee. Elk kapslpaneel is handgesneden uit een vers blok Aragonees alabaster, dus de wolkenaderpatronen, kleurdiepte en doorzichtigheid variëren van paneel tot paneel. Binnen een enkele armatuur zijn de panelen toonafgestemd voor visuële samenhang over de lineaire compositie. Tussen aparte bestellingen is enige natuurlijke variatie tussen armaturen te verwachten. De foto toont representatief karakter; uw armatuur zal uniek zijn.
Is de Megalith dimbaar? +
De standaard geïntegreerde LED is niet dimbaar. TRIAC-dimbaarheid en 0–10V-dimbaarheid zijn beschikbaar als maatwerk — neem alstublieft contact met ons op voordat u bestelt en geef uw voorkeurige dimmingsprotocol op zodat wij de juiste variant verzenden. We are unable to specify, select, or replicate any particular pattern. Ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack formations, and snowflake inclusions are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. Precision Cutting
Diamond instruments slice the stone into workable panels, guided by its natural grain rather than against it.
Sculpting
Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each form by hand — responding to the stone's character as it is revealed.
Hand Polishing
Progressively finer grits refine the surface until the stone's interior luminosity is fully realised.
Final Assembly
LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.

Every alabaster fixture is completed by its metalwork — the canopy, stem, arms, and fittings that carry the stone and frame its glow. Each is available in seventeen numbered finishes from the Radilum Finishes Library: brass, bronze, iron, steel, nickel, and chrome characters, hand-applied and sealed, or a custom patina grown to match a sample you send us.

Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.
- 01Never lift by the power cord.The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
- 02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
- 03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
