De Lantern Pendant volgt de logica van de traditionele straatlantaarn — licht beschermd binnen een delicate omsluitende vorm. Witte glazen schermen zijn gerangschikt langs een gouden geribbelde ijzeren zuil, waarbij elk scherm tegen de verticale structuur zweeft in plaats van erop te rusten. De ijzeren schacht is voorzien van fijne groeven die het licht opvangen en door het geribbelde oppervlak afleiden; kleine gouden bollen onderbreken de zuil op regelmatige afstanden en dienen als visuele rustpunten tussen de grotere glassvormen.
Met een hoogte van 150 cm en een diameter van slechts 25 cm werkt de Lantern als een verticaal element — meer zuil dan kroonluchter. Dit ontwerp past perfect in eetkamers met hoge plafonds en inkomhallen waar het lichtobject verticale aanwezigheid nodig heeft zonder horizontale uitspreiding, en harmonieert natuurlijk met klassieke, transitoire en Art Deco interieurs waar goud en wit een fundamentele combinatie vormen.
Afmetingen
Niet geschikt voor schuin aflopende plafonds. De Lantern Pendant is alleen ontworpen voor installatie op vlakke plafonds. De verticale zuilvorm vereist een vlakke plafondbefestiging — een schuin plafond zal ertoe leiden dat het lichtobject onder een hoek hangt. Installeer niet op schuin aflopende of gewelfde plafonds.
Plafondhoogtevereiste. Met een lichaamhoogte van 150 cm plus 100 cm ophangspin bedraagt de totale afhanging van plafond tot onderkant ongeveer 250 cm vóór aanpassingen. Een minimale plafondhoogte van 3,2 m wordt aanbevolen voor voldoende ruimte boven het hoofd. De ophangspin kan tijdens de installatie worden ingekort voor lagere plafonds.

Hoe hoog moet mijn plafond zijn? +
Het armatuurlichaam is 150 cm hoog. Voeg de 100 cm ophangstang toe en de totale afstand van het plafond naar de onderkant van de armatuur is ongeveer 250 cm vóór het verstellen van de stang. Om comfortabele ruimte boven hoofdhoogte te behouden (ruwweg 200 cm vanaf de grond), hebt u minstens 3,2 m plafond hoogte nodig. De ophangstang kan tijdens installatie korter worden gemaakt als uw plafond lager is, maar het 150 cm armatuurlichaam zelf kan niet worden verkort. Bevestig uw plafond hoogte voordat u bestelt.
Waarom kan het niet op een schuin plafond worden geïnstalleerd? +
De verticale kolom vorm van de Lantern Pendant is ontworpen om loodrecht te hangen — perfect verticaal. Een schuin plafondscanopy zal het ophangpunt kantelen, waardoor de gehele 150 cm kolom in een hoek in plaats van recht naar beneden hangt. Anders dan bij kortere hanglampjes waar een lichte kanteling nauwelijks opvalt, maakt de 150 cm hoogte zelfs een kleine hoek visueel significant. Standaard adapters voor schuin plafonds lossen dit probleem ook niet adequaat op voor een armatuur van deze lengte.
Welke gloeilamp moet ik gebruiken? +
Een standaard E26 (VS) of E27 (internationaal) gloeilamp. Voor een armatuur van deze stijl — gouden kolom, wit glas, Art Deco-referenties — produceert een warm wit 2700K LED van 6–10W met een gefrosted of opale bol een zacht, gelijkmatig licht door het witte glas. Een Edison-stijl filament-LED in een bol of kaarsvorm past ook bij de historische esthetiek. Vermijd cool wit (4000K+) gloeilampen — zij conflicteren met de warme goudafwerking. Gloeilampen zijn niet inbegrepen.
Is het dimbaar? +
Ja, in combinatie met een dimbare LED-gloeilamp en een compatibele TRIAC-wanddimmer (beide afzonderlijk verkrijgbaar). Geef "dimbaar" op bij aankoop van de E26/E27-gloeilamp en bevestig dat uw dimmerschakelaar geschikt is voor LED-belastingen. Dimmen versterkt het warme, omgevingskarakter van de armatuur aanzienlijk.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
