Waarom een Universele SKU? Omdat elk stuk natuurlijke onyx uniek is, zou het opsommen van elke afzonderlijke steen voortdurende "uitverkocht"-meldingen betekenen. Installatie
- Inbouwwandinstallatie — een erkend elektricien wordt aanbevolen.
- Past in een standaard single-gang wanddoos. Alle bevestigingsmateriaal is inbegrepen.
- Behandel de onyx voorzichtig tijdens installatie — natuursteen kan afbrokkelen als het tegen een hard oppervlak wordt gestoten.
- Aanbevolen plaatsing: op ooghoogte (≈ 150 cm / 60″ vanaf de vloer) voor gangen, of 80–100 cm boven nachtkastjes. Prachtig effect wanneer u de wandlamp aan weerszijden van een spiegel of bed plaatst.
- Controleer of de wanddoos 2,56 kg / 5,6 lbs kan dragen — ruim binnen de standaard capaciteit, maar het loont de moeite om dit op oudere muren na te gaan.

Waarom ontvang ik mijn bestelling niet onmiddellijk? +
Omdat elk stuk onyx werkelijk uniek is, willen we dat u de exacte steen kunt zien en kiezen voordat we verzenden. Binnen 1 werkdag na uw bestelling ontvangt u een e-mail met foto's van beschikbare onyxstukken. Zodra u uw favoriet hebt bevestigd, beginnen we met de eindvoorbereiding en verzenden we — meestal binnen 2–3 werkdagen na uw bevestiging.
Wat als me geen van de stenen bevalt? +
Laat het ons weten — we laten u de volgende beschikbare partij zien zodra nieuwe stenen binnenkomen, of we verwerken een volledige terugbetaling als u dat prefereert. Uw bestelling is niet definitief totdat u uw steenkeuze hebt bevestigd, dus er is geen risico bij het plaatsen van een Universal SKU-bestelling.
Kan ik specifieke nerving of kleur aanvragen? +
Ja. Voeg een opmerking toe bij het afrekenen met uw voorkeur: "meer nerving", "zo weinig mogelijk nerving", "lichter gehalte", "donkerder gehalte", of "meer doorschijnend". We doen ons best om uw voorkeur af te stemmen op de huidige voorraad wanneer we de fotoselectie sturen.
Is dit echte onyx of een steen-achtig composiet? +
Het is echte natuurlijke witte onyx — gewonnen uit steengroeven, met de hand gesneden en afgewerkt uit natuursteen. De nerving, lichte doorzichtigheid wanneer verlicht, en tonale nuances kunnen niet worden gereproduceerd door composiet of bedrukte materialen. Het snijwerk en de afwerking worden met de hand uitgevoerd, daarom is elk stuk uniek.
Welke gloeilamp beveel je aan? +
Een G9 LED-lamp in warm wit (2700K), op 3–4W. Het warme licht benadrukt de natuurlijke doorzichtigheid van de onyx en verzacht de diffusie van de glazen bol. Vermijd koel-wit of daglichtlampen — deze conflicteren met de natuurlijke warmte van de steen.
Is de lamp dimbaar? +
Ja — in combinatie met een dimbare G9 LED-lamp en een TRIAC-compatibele wanddimmer (bijv. Lutron Skylark, Leviton Decora) dimmen de Orli soepel. Gedimd licht is bijzonder sfeervolle — de warme gloed accentueert de nerving van de steen terwijl het overgaat van helder naar zacht.
Kan ik andere Orli wandlampen uit deze serie zien? +
Ja — de Orli-serie bevat aanvullende wandlampen in verschillende vormen en configuraties met dezelfde natuursteenuitstraling. Bekijk hier de volledige serie →
Hoe reinig ik natuurlijke onyx? +
Schakel de wandvoeding uit en laat de lamp afkoelen. Stof af met een zachte droge doek. Voor diepere reiniging, wrijf voorzichtig met een zachte doek licht bevochtigde met water en een druppel pH-neutrale milde zeep. Vermijd zure schoonmaakmiddelen (azijn, citroen, citrusproducten) die natuursteen kunnen aantasten. Gebruik geen schurende sponsen of polijstmiddelen.
Wat als de onyx beschadigd aankomt? +
Natuursteen wordt zorgvuldig verpakt, maar kan tijdens het transport soms worden beschadigd. Als uw wandlamp beschadigd aankomt, neem dan binnen 48 uur na levering contact met ons op met foto's — we zullen snel een vervanging regelen. Installeer geen beschadigd stuk.

Natural stone behaves differently from mass-produced materials. Here is exactly what to expect — and how our support team has you covered at every step.
Q1. Will my lamp look exactly like the photos?
No — and that is the point. Because each Orli is cut from a unique block of natural stone, its veining, color depth and pattern will be its own. Your piece will share the same family and tone as the photos shown, but the exact movement of the stone is one-of-a-kind. This natural variation is a hallmark of genuine stone, not a defect, and is not grounds for return on its own.
Q2. Are natural lines, spots or fine veins normal?
Yes. Natural marble, onyx, travertine and alabaster contain mineral veins, subtle color shifts, tiny pits (especially in travertine, which is naturally porous) and faint internal lines. These are formed over millions of years and are part of the material's authenticity. When lit, some veins may appear more visible — this is the translucency working as intended. Only a structural crack that affects function is considered a fault.
Q3. What if it arrives damaged or broken in transit?
Stone is fragile, so every Orli is packed in protective, shock-absorbing packaging. In the rare event it arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and the packaging. We will arrange a free replacement or refund — no complicated process. Keeping the original packaging helps us resolve it faster.
Q4. How heavy is it, and what wall does it need?
Because the body is solid stone, the Orli is heavier than a typical metal sconce. It is designed to mount on a standard wall junction box with the included bracket and hardware. For drywall, we recommend fixing into a stud or using appropriate heavy-duty anchors. If you are unsure about your wall type, our team can advise before you install.
Q5. What bulb does it use, and is it dimmable?
The Orli uses a standard screw socket (E26 in North America / E27 elsewhere) and ships ready for a warm 3000K bulb to best reveal the stone's glow. It is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmable bulb and a matching wall dimmer. If you need a specific voltage, socket or color temperature, let us know at checkout and we will confirm before shipping.
Q6. How do I clean and care for it?
Wipe gently with a soft, dry or barely-damp cloth. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners (vinegar, citrus, scouring pads), which can etch natural stone. For bathroom installs, mount in a dry zone away from direct water spray to protect both the stone and the wiring.

Every Orli is bench-tested before it leaves our workshop and backed by worry-free after-sales support. We stand behind the electrical components and structural integrity of the fixture. Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
