Een sculptuurale vloerlamp in de Italiaanse mid-century traditie van gestapelde blokken — handgesneden albastvierkanten gestapeld langs een centrale kolom op een zwartmessingen sokkel, waarbij elk blok licht uit de as gedraaid is zodat het silhouet als een rustig draaiende toren oogt. De geïntegreerde LED-engine verscholen in de sokkel verlicht het albast van onderen, zodat de natuurlijke room-en-amberkleurige nerven van elk blok van binnenuit oplichten.
Voortkomend uit de Italiaanse traditie van gestapelde albastkolom-verlichting uit de jaren zestig–zeventig uit de studios van Verona en Pesaro. Installatie
- Plug-in installatie. Geen hardwiring vereist — sluit aan op een standaard wandcontactdoos die uw geselecteerde stekkertype matcht.
- Verhandeling met twee personen vereist. 63 inch hoge gestapelde kolom — pak voorzichtig uit, til alleen vast bij de messing sokkel, nooit bij de albastblokken.
- Plaats op een stabiel vlak oppervlak. De vierkante sokkel vereist vlakke vloering; hardhouten, tegels of laagpolig tapijt hebben de voorkeur.
- Snoerrouting. Het 59″ voedingssnoer komt uit aan de basis — plaats het licht in de buurt van een stopcontact of gebruik een gecertificeerde verlengsnoer die geschikt is voor uw regio.
- Onderhoud: stof het alabaster af met een zachte droge doek. Alabaster is poreus — gebruik geen water, glasreiniger of enige vloeistof; voor vingerafdrukken gebruikt u een droge chamois. Houd het weg van vochtige ruimten.

Waar hoort dit licht te staan? +
Het is een opvallende vloerlamp van 63″ hoog — het beste geplaatst als blikvanger in een galerijnis, naast een leestoel in de master bedroom, in een bibliotheek- of werkhoek, of als ankerpunt van een hedendaags inkomfoyer. De alabasteren zuil straalt van binnenuit in plaats van diffuus licht uit te stralen, dus plan het als architectonische ambient verlichting in combinatie met afzonderlijke taak- of leesverlichting.
Zal mijn lamp overeenkomen met de foto's? +
De vorm, schaal en messing basis zijn volgens strikte specificatie gemaakt. Het alabaster echter wordt handgesneden uit natuurlijke blokken — aderpatronen, doorzichtigheid, exacte tint en kleine minerale inclusies verschillen tussen elk blok, en de stapel blokken per zuil betekent dat de cumulatieve variatie meer zichtbaar is dan bij een enkelstukske alabasteren armatuur. Het licht dat u ontvangt zal in dezelfde visuele stijl vallen als de foto's maar zal zichtbaar onderscheiden zijn.
Is het dimbaar? Lutron-compatibel? +
De standaard geïntegreerde LED is niet dimbaar en zal niet werken met standaard TRIAC wanddimmers. TRIAC-dimbaarverkabeling is beschikbaar als maakaak — geef dit aan bij contact voordat u bestelt. De dimbaarvariant is compatibel met Lutron Caséta, Diva en forward-phase wanddimmers wanneer gebruikt met een geschakeld stopcontact.
Welke stekker moet ik kiezen? +
Kies US, UK, AU of EU bij checkout om uw installatiegebied aan te passen. De geïntegreerde LED is bedraad voor AC 110–240V universele spanning dus hetzelfde licht werkt op elke markt zodra de juiste stekker is bevestigd. Bevestig het stekkertype voordat u bestelt — verzendingen met verkeerde stekker vereisen teruggave.
Hoe reinig ik het alabaster? +
Stof af met een zachte droge microvezelluier of chamois. Gebruik geen water, glasreiniger, ammonia, azijn of enige vloeibare reiniger — alabaster is poreus en water zal het oppervlak verkleuren of bevlekken. Voor vingerafdrukken gebruikt u een droge doek. Houd de armatuur weg van direct zonlicht (UV kan de crèmekleur over jaren verschuiven) en weg van vochtige ruimten.

Because alabaster is a living natural stone, every piece carries its own unique veining and tonal variation — a quality we celebrate rather than suppress. We are unable to specify, select, or replicate any particular pattern. Ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack formations, and snowflake inclusions are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. Every alabaster lamp begins as raw stone and arrives in your hands only after passing through a sequence of precise, unhurried steps — performed by artisans who know how to listen to the material before they shape it.
Material Selection
Rough blocks are hand-assessed at the quarry for translucence, structural integrity, and depth of colour within.
Precision Cutting
Diamond instruments slice the stone into workable panels, guided by its natural grain rather than against it.
Sculpting
Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each form by hand — responding to the stone's character as it is revealed.
Hand Polishing
Progressively finer grits refine the surface until the stone's interior luminosity is fully realised.
Final Assembly
LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.

Every alabaster fixture is completed by its metalwork — the canopy, stem, arms, and fittings that carry the stone and frame its glow. Each is available in seventeen numbered finishes from the Radilum Finishes Library: brass, bronze, iron, steel, nickel, and chrome characters, hand-applied and sealed, or a custom patina grown to match a sample you send us.

Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.
- 01Never lift by the power cord.The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
- 02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
- 03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
