Bohemia is gebouwd uit een enkele organische glasvorm die twee volumes in één continue vorm samenbrengt — een buitenschil in levendige kleur en een binnenholte die zuiver wit blijft. Wanneer verlicht, ziet de lichtbron alleen wit en projecteert schone, neutrale verlichting in de ruimte zonder kleurvervuiling. De kleur bevindt zich volledig aan de buitenkant van de lampenkap, zichtbaar van buiten als een sculpturaal object, waardoor de lichtconcurrentie zelf onveranderd blijft.
Het doorschijnende glas laat de binnengloed door de gekleurde schil lezen als een zachte lichtgevende halo — de kap is van binnenuit verlicht maar de ruimte wordt schoon van onderaf verlicht. Met een diameter van 40 cm en slechts 21 cm hoog, zijn de proporties breed en ondiep, waardoor licht breed naar beneden wordt geprojecteerd over een tafel of eiland, terwijl het gekleurde glas visueel het middelpunt vormt op ooghoogte.

Het binnenoppervlak is wit ongeacht de kleur van de kap — schone neutrale lichtopbrengst, zonder kleurverschuiving in de kamer eronder.

De lichtopbrengst is neutraal wit ongeacht de kleur van de kap. Het binnenoppervlak is wit op alle versies — geen gekleurde licht wordt op de tafel of plafond eronder geworpen. De kleur is een eigenschap van de kap als object, niet van het licht dat het produceert.
De kap ziet er heel anders uit aan versus uit. Wanneer niet verlicht, verschijnt het glas als een solide, ondoorzichtig gekleurde object. Wanneer verlicht, gloeit de doorschijnende schil van binnenuit als een lumineuze halo en wordt de organische vorm volledig zichtbaar. Beïnvloedt de kapkleur het licht in de ruimte? +
Nee — de binnenkant van elke Bohemia-kap is wit, ongeacht welke kleur je kiest. De gloeilamp verlicht alleen het witte binnenoppervlak, dus het licht dat naar beneden en in de ruimte wordt uitgestraald is altijd helder en neutraal. De glaskleur is zichtbaar aan de buitenkant van de kap en creëert een gloeiend haloeffect, maar tint het licht niet op een merkbare manier.
Hoeveel hangtafellampjes moet ik boven een eettafel hangen? +
Met een doorsnede van ∅ 40 cm is één Bohemia geschikt voor een ronde of vierkante tafel tot 100 cm en compacte eethoeken. Voor een standaard rechthoekige eettafel (140–180 cm) zorgen twee hangtafellampjes die in een rij hangen — op 50–60 cm afstand van elkaar — voor een gelijkmatige verdeling en een visueel evenwichtige compositie. Het mengvouwen van kleuren (bijv. één rood, één groen) kan goed werken in eclectische interieurs; gelijke kleuren bieden meer samenhang.
Welke gloeilamp moet ik gebruiken? +
Een 6–10W LED-gloeilamp van 2700–3000K warmwit per fitting (E26 voor de VS, E27 internationaal). Warmwit versterkt de ambiënce van het licht en complimenteert alle drie de glassoorten. Vermijd gloeilampen boven de 10W — het glas is doorschijnend en een zeer heldere bron kan de kap vanuit bepaalde hoeken te intens laten lijken. Gloeilampen zijn niet inbegrepen.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
