Een wandlamp die een antiek messing armatuur combineert met een handgeselecteerde natuurlijke alabaster kap — de steen verspreidt de geïntegreerde LED in een zachte, warme gloed die door de nerven van de steen filtert. Alabaster is doorschijnend in plaats van doorzichtig: licht dringt erdoor in plaats van erlangs, waardoor de minerale structuur van binnenuit wordt verlicht. Het resultaat is een gloed die warmer en organischer is dan wat enige gevriesde glaskap kan voortbrengen.

Wit Alabaster
Bleekgeel tot ivoor steen met zachte grijze nerven. Produceert de lichtste, meest lumineuze gloed — de steen lijkt bijna van binnenuit verlicht. Geschikt voor neutrale en licht getinte interieurs.
Bruin Alabaster
Warm amber tot tabak steen met uitgesproken karamelnerfpatroon. De gloed is dieper en goudachtiger — een rijker, meer omarmend licht. Geschikt voor warm hout, terracotta en donker getinte interieurs.
Elke steen is uniek. Natuurlijk alabaster heeft nerven, kleurvariaties en doorschijnendheid die van stuk tot stuk verschillen. De kap die je ontvangt zal niet identiek zijn aan foto's — die eigenheid is inherent aan natuursteen, geen gebrek.

Wit of bruin alabaster — wat moet ik kiezen? +
Wit alabaster produceert de lichtste en meest lumineuze gloed — de bleke steen transmitteert meer licht en de gloed lijkt bijna van binnenuit verlicht. Het beste voor kamers met neutrale muren, licht hout en interieurs waar je wilt dat de lamp een rustige, verfijnde accent is. Bruin alabaster produceert een diepere, meer gouden gloed — de amber toon van de steen warmt de lichtoutput merkbaar. Het beste voor kamers met warm hout, donkere muren, terracotta of elk interieur waar je wilt dat de lamp warmte aan het kleurenpalette toevoegt.
Zal mijn steen eruit zien als op de foto's? +
Niet precies — natuurlijk alabaster heeft unieke nerven, kleurvariaties en doorschijnendheid in elk stuk. De steen die je ontvangt zal overeenkomen met het algemene karakter (bleekgeel voor wit, warm amber voor bruin), maar het specifieke nerfpatroon zal anders zijn dan op de foto's. Als je voorkeur hebt voor lichter, donkerder, meer of minder gefiberd steen, noteer dit dan bij afrekenen en we doen ons best te voldoen.
Kan ik het gebruiken met mijn bestaande dimmerschakelaar? +
Nee — de standaard geïntegreerde LED is niet compatibel met TRIAC-wanddimmers. Aansluiting op een dimmercircuit zal ertoe leiden dat de LED flikkert of vroegtijdig uitvalt. Als dimmen belangrijk is voor uw installatie, neem dan contact met ons op voordat u bestelt, zodat we een dimmbare versie als maatwerkbouw kunnen leveren. Vermeld indien mogelijk het merk van uw dimmer, zodat we compatibiliteit kunnen bevestigen.
Wat is het verschil tussen deze en de Double-versie? +
Deze aanbieding is de single-shade Payson — één alabasteren shade op één messinglichaam. De Payson Double heeft twee alabasteren shades die uitsteken uit hetzelfde messinglichaam, wat meer lichtopbrengst en meer visuele impact biedt. De Double is geschikt voor langere wanden, grotere ruimtes en installaties waar een enkele wandlamp te klein zou voelen. Beide versies hebben hetzelfde antieke messinglichaam en zijn beschikbaar in dezelfde steenkleuren.

We are unable to specify, select, or replicate any particular pattern. Ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack formations, and snowflake inclusions are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. Material Selection
Rough blocks are hand-assessed at the quarry for translucence, structural integrity, and depth of colour within.
Precision Cutting
Diamond instruments slice the stone into workable panels, guided by its natural grain rather than against it.
Sculpting
Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each form by hand — responding to the stone's character as it is revealed.
Hand Polishing
Progressively finer grits refine the surface until the stone's interior luminosity is fully realised.
Final Assembly
LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.

Every alabaster fixture is completed by its metalwork — the canopy, stem, arms, and fittings that carry the stone and frame its glow. Each is available in seventeen numbered finishes from the Radilum Finishes Library: brass, bronze, iron, steel, nickel, and chrome characters, hand-applied and sealed, or a custom patina grown to match a sample you send us.

Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.
- 01Never lift by the power cord.The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
- 02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
- 03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
