Dit is een kleine fixture. De Hardy meet D 10 × W 5 × H 10 cm (∅ 3.9″ × W 2″ × H 3.9″) — ongeveer ter grootte van een peer. Installatie
- Inbouwwandinstallatie — een erkend elektricien wordt aanbevolen.
- Monteer op een beschutte locatie: overdekte veranda, afdak, luifel, tuinhuisje of overdekte ingang. Vermijd posities blootgesteld aan directe regen of sproeierwater.
- Alle bevestigingshardware is inbegrepen. Past op een standaard wanddoos.
- Zorg ervoor dat het voedingscircuit 110V AC is. Sluit niet aan op 12V-tuinaansluitingstransformatoren.
- Gebruik een G4 bi-pin LED-gloeilamp met nominale waarde voor 110V AC — apart verkrijgbaar.
- Dicht de monterings-insteekplekken af met buitenafdichtingsmiddel op siliconenbasis om vochtindringing bij de wandplaat te voorkomen.

Zal het messing na verloop van tijd patina vormen? +
Ja — massief messing vormt natuurlijk een diepere, verweerde patina na verloop van tijd, vooral in vochtige of beschutte kustomgevingen. Dit maakt onderdeel uit van de designintentie van de Hardy Island Collectie. Kies Matte Black of Zilver als u de voorkeur geeft aan een stabiele, onveranderlijke afwerking.
Kan ik dit gebruiken met mijn 12V buitenverlichting? +
Nee. De Hardy werkt uitsluitend op 110V AC. Aansluiting op een 12V laagspannings-tuintransformator werkt niet en kan het armatuur beschadigen. Als u een 12V-optie nodig hebt, zoek alstublieft naar een ander armatuur in ons buitenassortiment.
Welke gloeilamp moet ik gebruiken? +
Een G4 bi-pin LED-lamp met een nominale spanning van 110V AC. We bevelen een warm wit (2700K) LED van 2–3W aan voor een ambient, padachtig licht. Vermijd 12V G4-lampen — deze werken niet met dit armatuur.
Kan ik dit op een volledig blootgestelde buitenpositie installeren? +
Nee. De Hardy is ontworpen voor beschermde buitengebruik — overdekte veranda's, luifels, pergola's met een vast dak, paviljoens of overkapte ingang. Vermijd posities waar de lamp direct door regen, sproeiers of stilstaand water zou worden geraakt. De koperen behuizing weerstaat vochtigheid, wind en zeelucht, maar is niet geschikt voor directe neerslag.
Waar werkt de Hardy het best gezien de grootte? +
Met een compacte hoogte van 10 cm is de Hardy ideaal voor: padverlichting (geplaatst op laag wandniveau), het omlijsten van ingangsdeuren met een paar lampen, markeringslicht langs trappen, accentuering van tuinmuren, of als serie langs een hekwerk. Het is niet bedoeld als primaire veranda-verlichting.
Hoe verzorg ik de afwerking? +
Veeg voorzichtig met een zachte droge doek. In kustgebieden verwijdert u af en toe met een licht vochtige doek zoutresten. Vermijd schuurmiddelen of poetsmiddelen — deze beschadigen de patina of matte afwerking. De koperfinishes zijn ontworpen om natuurlijk te verouderen; dit is geen defect.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
