Een wandlamp samengesteld als verticale stapeling van vier vormen — een cirkelvormige messingachterpaneel, een gepolijste messingbol, een donkerder marmerbol, en een handgesneden alabaster belkap onderaan. De compositie leest als een stille sculptuur, weergegeven in dezelfde proporties als een stukje kleine architectuur.
De alabaster bel gloeit zachtjes van binnenuit wanneer deze aangestoken is, en onthult haar doorschijnende nerven; de marmerbol zit als een donkerder contrast erbovenop. Beide stenen zijn natuurlijk — elk armatuur heeft zijn eigen unieke karakter van patroon en toon.

Poedergecoat wit achterpaneel en bovenbol — het metaalwerk treedt terug, waardoor de natuurlijke stenen (marmerbol en alabaster bel) visueel voorrang krijgen.
Elk stuk is uniek. Zowel de alabasten klokvormige kap als de marmeren bol zijn uit natuursteen gesneden. Aderingpatronen, kleurintensiteit en korrelrichting zullen afwijken van de afgebeelde foto's — die uniciteit hoort bij het werken met natuursteen, niet bij een defect.

Hoe lang tot verzending? +
De productie duurt ongeveer 25 dagen, omdat elke alabasten klokvormige kap en marmeren bol met de hand uit natuursteen op bestelling wordt gesneden. Verzendtijd komt daar nog bij. Hebt u een projectdeadline, neem dan contact met ons op voordat u bestelt en we bevestigen de timing.
Welke maat moet ik kiezen? +
De Klein (H 31 cm) is geschikt voor compacte bedsidemuren, smalle gangen en gastenkamers. De Gemiddeld (H 39 cm, iets breder) is het meest proportioneel uitgebalanceerd — geschikt voor typische bedside- of woonkamermuren. De Hoog (H 39 cm maar smal) is even hoog als Gemiddeld maar met een slankere vorm — beter voor smalle muren waar u verticale aanwezigheid wilt zonder extra breedte.
Ziet mijn lamp er precies zo uit als op de foto? +
Nee — zowel de alabasten klokvormige kap als de marmeren bol zijn natuursteen. Elk stuk heeft zijn eigen aderingpatroon, kleurintensiteit en korrelrichting. De uwe deelt hetzelfde algemene karakter met de foto's, maar de specifieke markeringen zijn uniek.
Welke gloeilamp past erin? +
Één G9 LED-lamp (niet inbegrepen). G9 is een kleine twee-pins fitting, gebruikelijk bij compacte decoratieve armaturen en ruim beschikbaar bij verlichtingsleveranciers. We raden een dimmbare G9 LED tot 5W aan in warm wit (3000K) voor het beste zachte gloeëffect door het alabaster.
Kan ik het als paar bestellen? +
Ja — deze wandlamp wordt vaak in paren geplaatst naast een bed, spiegel of open haard. Bestel gewoon twee stuks. Onthoud dat omdat de natuurstenen tussen de stuks variëren, uw paar hetzelfde algemene karakter zal delen maar niet perfect zal afgestemd zijn — dat hoort bij de natuurstenen esthetiek. Voor beter afgestemde stukken, neem eerst contact met ons op.

We are unable to specify, select, or replicate any particular pattern. Ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack formations, and snowflake inclusions are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. Every alabaster lamp begins as raw stone and arrives in your hands only after passing through a sequence of precise, unhurried steps — performed by artisans who know how to listen to the material before they shape it.
Material Selection
Rough blocks are hand-assessed at the quarry for translucence, structural integrity, and depth of colour within.
Precision Cutting
Diamond instruments slice the stone into workable panels, guided by its natural grain rather than against it.
Sculpting
Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each form by hand — responding to the stone's character as it is revealed.
Hand Polishing
Progressively finer grits refine the surface until the stone's interior luminosity is fully realised.
Final Assembly
LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.

Every alabaster fixture is completed by its metalwork — the canopy, stem, arms, and fittings that carry the stone and frame its glow. Each is available in seventeen numbered finishes from the Radilum Finishes Library: brass, bronze, iron, steel, nickel, and chrome characters, hand-applied and sealed, or a custom patina grown to match a sample you send us.

Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.
- 01Never lift by the power cord.The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
- 02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
- 03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
