Een donut-vormige alabaster kroonluchter in een eigentijds minimalistische taal — een enkele torus gesneden uit geïmporteerd Spaans albast, opgehangen aan een mattezwarte kandelaberstengel, met een slanke messing-takarmature die zich over de onderste opening uitstrekt om de geïntegreerde LED-motor vast te houden. Licht passeert door de natuurlijke nerven van de steen en leest als een continu haloeffect van warme amberkleurige luminantie.

Een mat afgewerkte messing-tak strekt zich over de onderste opening uit om de geïntegreerde LED-motor op te hangen — het enige zichtbare mechanisme, getrokken in schone lijn.

Installatie
- Erkend elektricien vereist. Inbouwplafondpendel via bijgeleverde montageplaat en stang.
- Gespecialiseerde installateur aanbevolen. Spaans albast is een zacht mineraal — behandel de torus voorzichtig bij uitpakken; til alleen bij de bevestigingshardware, nooit bij de albastenen ring.
- De onderrand 30–34″ boven het tafelblad of eilandblad hangen, of 7+ voet boven de vloer in loopzones van entreefoyers.
- Kleurtemperatuur bij bestelling opgeven. 2700K warm of 4000K neutraal — gekozen bij afrekenen, niet ter plaatse aanpasbaar.
- Onderhoud: albast alleen met een zachte droge doek afstoften. Geen water, glazenreiniger of vloeistoffen gebruiken — albast is poreus en verkleurt. Voor vingerafdrukken een droge chamois gebruiken.

Welke maat moet ik kiezen? +
Match de kroonluchter-diameter met ongeveer half tot twee-derde van de tafel- of eilandbreedte. De Compact (Ø 23,6″) past bij tafels 48–60″ en eilanden 36–48″. De Standard (Ø 27,6″) past bij tafels 60–80″ en eilanden 48–60″. De Grand (Ø 31,5″) past bij tafels 72–96″ en eilanden 60–84″. De onderrand 30–34″ boven het tafelblad of eilandblad hangen. Voor zeer lange tafels en eilanden plannen twee of drie Compacts met 24–30″ tussenruimte van middelpunt tot middelpunt.
Warm of koel licht — wat moet ik kiezen? +
Kies 2700K warm wit voor eetkamers, slaapkamers en entreefoyers — het benadrukt de natuurlijke crème- en ambernerving van het Spaanse albast. Kies 4000K neutraal wit voor keukeneilanden, galerijinterieurs en moderne wit-en-steenruimten — het leest als daglicht en accentueert de koele kant van de nerving. Kleurtemperatuur wordt bij afrekenen geselecteerd en is niet ter plaatse aanpasbaar.
Zal mijn armatuur overeenkomen met de foto's? +
De vorm, messingtak en matte zwarte montageplaat zijn volgens vaste specificatie vervaardigd. Het albast echter wordt met de hand uit natuurlijke Spaanse blokken gesneden — nerving, doorzichtigheid, exacte toon en kleine minerale insluitsels verschillen tussen elk exemplaar. Het exemplaar dat u ontvangt zal dezelfde visuele taal spreken als de foto's, maar zal op nervingniveau zichtbaar uniek zijn. Dit is het karakter van natuurlijk Spaans albast.
Is het dimbaar? Lutron-compatibel? +
De standaard geïntegreerde LED is niet dimbaar en werkt niet met standaard TRIAC-muurdimmers. TRIAC-dimbaarheid is beschikbaar als op maat gemaakte uitvoering — gelieve dit op te geven bij contact. De dimbaarheid variant is compatibel met Lutron Caséta, Diva en forward-phase muurdimmers. Zie onze gids voor dimmingprotocollen.
Hoe reinig ik het alabaster? +
Alleen met een zachte droge microvezeldoek of chamois afstoften. Geen water, glazenreiniger, ammonia, azijn of enige vloeistofreiniger gebruiken — albast is poreus en water veroorzaakt verkleuring of vlekken. Voor vingerafdrukken een droge doek gebruiken. Houd de armatuur uit vochtrijke ruimten (stoombadinrichtingen, direct boven kookplaten) om het steen in de loop van de tijd te behouden.
Geschikt voor horeca- en handelprojecten? +
Ja — hospitality-kwaliteit. Because alabaster is a living natural stone, every piece carries its own unique veining and tonal variation — a quality we celebrate rather than suppress. We are unable to specify, select, or replicate any particular pattern. Ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack formations, and snowflake inclusions are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. If you prefer a perfectly uniform finish, this collection may not align with your expectations — and we kindly invite you to consider this before placing your order.

Every alabaster lamp begins as raw stone and arrives in your hands only after passing through a sequence of precise, unhurried steps — performed by artisans who know how to listen to the material before they shape it.
Material Selection
Rough blocks are hand-assessed at the quarry for translucence, structural integrity, and depth of colour within.
Precision Cutting
Diamond instruments slice the stone into workable panels, guided by its natural grain rather than against it.
Sculpting
Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each form by hand — responding to the stone's character as it is revealed.
Hand Polishing
Progressively finer grits refine the surface until the stone's interior luminosity is fully realised.
Final Assembly
LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.

Every alabaster fixture is completed by its metalwork — the canopy, stem, arms, and fittings that carry the stone and frame its glow. Each is available in seventeen numbered finishes from the Radilum Finishes Library: brass, bronze, iron, steel, nickel, and chrome characters, hand-applied and sealed, or a custom patina grown to match a sample you send us.

Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.
- 01Never lift by the power cord.The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
- 02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
- 03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
